^ Well no one has been posting in this thread for a while so sure it will be hard to find this thread. Since not many people are applying for drifting lessons, I would like to become a driving instructor on Overtaking, Aggressive and Defensive driving, Track Specific training (Nurburgring), and rally driving.
 
I should be able to do some work if you want, anything but the driving in pack as I have minor problems myself (I'm more the "cool" driver, rather backing out to avoid first corner crashes). Maybe we can add a discipline about seeing a crash coming and avoiding it?

Got that covered. I'm the one that teaches how to run in a pack, as well as tactics and philosophy. It's in the OP.

I don't have any problem driving against AI that is because they don't complain lol. Like Wolfdragon mentioned driving under pressure is a problem also for me. What he described is what I tend to do also.

Oh I dont have a headset for the PS3 which may be a problem. I tend to use the xbox or pc for voice chat with friends.

I haven't been really active with GT5 since the last few months, had loads of stuff going on. I've got time now though and if people are still interested, we can continue this where everything was left off. :)

I've helped a few from this thread, so I'd say yes. The occasional bump of the thread doesn't hurt.
 
I'd be interested still even though I've gotten very few contacts about it.
 
Not meaning to bump a slightly old thread, but I am in a very generous mood today, so if anyone wants me to give them some basic lessons about any area of racing then feel free to contact me if you're interested.

I host Clean & Relaxed shuffle races almost nightly, without mics, and with some really good competitors. If you're looking to get over your anxiety within a pack, this is probably the best way. Do you still do these? I can race well with cars that I pick, but my weak point is adapting to cars I don't normally drive, as well as overtaking in them.

I've got a few regular racers of various skill levels that drop by from time to time, and the racing excellent. We also do a few spec races, so everyone can accurately gauge and compare themselves to the competition.

I wish I would have know about this a while back. oh well. once I have more free time and a solid net connection on my Ps3 I might try and get a lil help.
 
I need "Manual Shifting in various Stock Road Cars According to the RPM for Dummies". If anyone's got some advice to impart about looking at the graph and knowing this somehow, let me know. I only seem to figure it out by trial & error driving... while others seem to be able to just immediately know when a car needs to be shifted early or late.

As i start i listen to the sound of the engine and let it bounce off the rev limiter and remember what it sounds like right before it hits the limiter.
 
I would like to help out in any way that i can. Only thing is i will have to wait until i get a tv at my moms house, but im probably going to bring the one i have at my dads. Ill be open on Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
