Alright, would really like to get these starting closer to 7... I think that's why Lancer bailed.

Shall we begin the weather settings discussion? I think we used 25% 5 changeability last season, may have been more though.

Nah I think Lancer bailed out because Rich's cable got unplugged (rejoined though), and he wasn't finding the car fun to drive. I did have to say though, he caught some airtime at Turn 1 when I joined. That was funny to watch.

On another note, I actually really glad I won last night. Took a huge gamble staying out for the full 25 laps we raced once Ant showed up. Ant pitted, although he asked after the race whether stops were mandatory or not, so it's likely we'd have had a 25-lap jockey for 1st place. 11 second gap at the end, but he was closing me fast, and the tyres were definitely on the limit.

Edit: I just looked at the replay, just edged it on tyre life. Maybe two more laps more life out of my tyres. By god, though, it was a great battle!

Well we ran just short of full distance, I was getting a bit sleepy towards the end but just about finished within Tex's time limit if it weren't for a few slip ups. I definitely couldn't have made a no stop work after all the tokyo drifts I did. GTA V will be coming soon enough, maybe that'll distract me away form GTP for a while.

As Rich said, it was short of full-race distance at 25 laps, but even still, I think I had the setup just right on the balance of pace and longetivity.

I was seriously debating it though, because I was still locking up and skidding and such at points, and I knew that if I ran out I was losing a lot of time hobbling to the pits, not to mention the time lost on older tyres compared to Ant's new ones, had I ran out. I had a 25-30 second window and 7 laps, so I had to plug laps and be really careful at the final turn because the back was swinging away if I didn't brake early.

I don't know how in the world you could make 25 laps anywhere expect autumn ring mini! You must've never locked up the rear tires...

That makes sense now. I think I'm using 3:1, if it rains I think 2:0 would be very helpful!

He is in the official V8Supercar series in Div3. He does other stuff to try get his iRating up which ends well... (He just said, on teamspeak, he fired off a guy who was "annoying" him)

Uhh he's now in the Cadillac at Watkins glen!

Edit: Kia's and Cadillacs are in the same race as multiclass I have just been told.. You may well be in the same race .
