GTP Rolex | Season 5 | Complete! Help Plan!

Hi guys, I'm back from Poland now, and.... Finally, the Vette caught a break and clinch it's first win since Daytona. Well done, Rich. I'm a bit disappointed about the attendance, but I hope the racing was good.

Mel, already seen your posts, not changed much have you? :)

Yeah the race was good for a bit, then it got a bit spaced after the hissy fit...

Blast from season 2 though xD All that was missing was FH coming on and telling him where to shove it xD

Good timing my mad colleague, whose Polish, just went to Poland for a 2 week holiday.. Seriously, you do not want to be in the same area as him..

Did you crash the wedding?

Same one that raced the V8 on iracing? :P

Anyways, second to last rolex race this week!

He's Aussie.. And has only ever left Aus to come, here (Scotland) :sly:.

This is a madman from work, he drives like a loony and acts like one everywhere else..

As I said, I'm done here.

If you want to question my decision, take it up via PM.

I'm tired of trying to keep up or have close racing.

At Suzuka, the Audi was quite fast. Now, at Monza, it's quite slow. Why? Because it's too good in the corners and wet, and too slow on the straights.

No matter what, you're not going to have close racing.

Just to iterate...

If you have something that is faster in corners than everything else, then proceed to give them the power to match the cars that aren't so good in the corners and need that extra something in the straights, you won't have close racing that way either.

This is the logic used, though I doubt Mel will bother responding.

Now, if we were using cars that really do race each other in real life, they would all be rear wheel drive. When the engine placement is the only difference, it's much easier to make equal. When it's 3 rear wheel drives, and one all wheel drive, there is going to be a disadvantage at some point.

For the rear wheel drives, it's the rain. The all wheel drives are at a disadvantage on long straights, but are better out of corners and trough turns.

Monza just makes the gap a little bigger than it usually is.

Just been comparing times at Spa of the Audi, Chevrolet and Dodge. So far, they aren't too bad. Chevy's going to have a hard time up Eau Rouge flat-out though.

They don't call it the slo-maro for anything

I think they should be good to go if they turn hard at the bottom so the car slides a bit.

If it rains...

...Go TBW GO!!!!

Is it too late for me to join this season? I stumbled across a Nissan R390 GT1 Road Car (finally).

Heh, I hope to make Spa cause... It's Spa :D.
If I recall, you're pretty much at home driving around Spa, as far as driving style is concerned. Right?

I've filled in Polar on the times, and it's funny you mention about wanting to turn up, because it's actually the Audi that's looking roughly 4 tenths better here, with room to improve.

Yeah Spa is by far one of the most suit tracks to my driving style. Won lots of races vs good competition here and had some of my best results within PURE here :).

Always a scary thing when Paul says he is good at a track :P

I almost beat Ant here last season in the rain :D

I might come, depends on if I'm too tired from GGT or not.

Good deal!

Anyone else seen the new F1 calander?

Austria, Russia, and Mexico! Looking great!

I love the A1 Ring (redbull ring...) and the Mexico City course, so it will be fun to watch. Only France would make it better!

I vastly prefer the Oesterreichring. ;) Mexico City will be a borefest unless they make changes to the track.

My guess is there have been massive changes. There's no way they would go there if it was the same as 2008 or whatever when nationwide was last there.

I like the track I remember when I drove on it in V8 Supercar 1 :D.

Is that the TOCA game that was called something different depending on where the game was sold?

Oh, and my school's football team is on TV... weird hearing their names on television, and the amount of people that smoke a ton and can still run this much xD
