So..... were at Silverstone next week correct... I'll have to set up a practice lobby perhaps, practicing with boost on weak, and a few slower cars on track to simulate track distances & as the change & vary throughout the race. I suppose the old settings are obsolete now...Reserves are really on a first to say they can make it races.

I'm still not being helped any by the council, which on the topic from your question ages ago @FlyinHawaiian77... sort of. A council is like a local mini-hub that works with the government to do what they can for the people who live in the area, although they appear to be just a bunch of jobs-worths that run on a script like a parrot when it comes to "helping" people in the community with housing. Hopefully there's a plus side soon though....
Anyway, how're the points and the races going? Seems like you're trying to get a hang of the lobby settings and the usual craziness of the PD servers...

Guys every time there's a caution the race becomes a shootout, atleast at the restart. If you have a caution with 10 laps to go the race becomes a shootout. That's how it is unless you want to ban cautions which I would prefer as it makes the race more simple, straight up. But either way is fine really, I just enjoy driving around with other people.
PS: Good luck on your situation Storm, hope you find a place to live that's decent.

We almost got it right with Daytona last Saturday. But midway through, we realized boost was on 'weak', and some left. At the end there only 4 guys (tex, myself, polar and tbw). Aside from that, most of it was smooth.

Makes me laugh that people left once they noticed boost was weak, given that they're probably the same guys that usually would still win with one hand on the wheel in GT5, when you DIDN'T have the option of a "real" draft strength.
I've been messing around on GT6 offline, been doing some testing of my own for a little trail run of Online races once I return. All I gotta say is performance points are not true to form as usual. Got 560pp cars running worse than most 530pp cars, but when you got Ferrari's, McLarens and Fords running against BMWs and Maseratis, you can tell which ones are bumped right the way down...

I think your a secret hacker. 
Saw something in a similar thread but with American cars. Maybe it has something to do with Kaz's theory of letting one person and one person only model a car. It could also be the rubber band AI. I dont think we can consider offline mode as "racing" anymore.

I feel a little stupid asking this, but what exactly is a drop round?

It means that everyone will have their 7 best races count toward the championship and that their worst finish will be dropped.
