I got my stuff with the DW sorted out, much better to drive. Don't know if I'll keep up, though.

My impression running a few laps yesterday is that the DW is more stable at Indy, my 2012 even had some understeer on most corners. I imagine the 2013 really has some understeer here, I am using an braking limited slip around 35-40. Haven't decided exactly what I want yet but in that range. Most of the GTP tunes for the DW in the tuning forum should work here as the track is relatively tame I think (some tracks are very difficult in the DW....)

Stable it is indeed. If you get the braking right, there's no understeer at all. Except for the long final turn, you need to turn early to get inside.

Yeah but it is usually a room setting. But I guess rules are rules.

Its a shame but big Tex posted the room number on the thread and you had 60 odd minutes to read the post and join before the race started (even though you thought it was an hour later) we did start right around when you believed the room would normally open for Q/Practice an hour later. Sorry about that though...

Sorry about that, I honestly looked at the room settings 3 times during the 70 minutes I had the room up and I didn't notice that one single time or the timer which should have been at 180sec. That's another issue GT5/6 have had is cluttering everything together. Try finding a track on the track selector online.

I just got a job and my work time might contradict with the final seconds of the race.

Can I keep my full time position in Audi and race with you guys until I go to work, in which I'll retire from the race?

I do not know who did and did not pit. I assume everyone except the guy who won GT made a stop. I know the guy infront of me did not stop.

Guys I'm more than likely out for this race. It's my dad's 60th birthday so it is kinda important

Since we are on the second half of the season it's time for the update going forward...

I will now say this is my last season I will run for awhile. Not going to say ever, but I'm going to be taking a break. I have a lot of things coming up and my summer will be more hectic than ever. I think this is a good time to stop with all the glitches and stuff making it almost a chore instead of fun. I have really enjoyed doing this series, and one day hope to do it again. I thank everyone who has helped me run this, and for racing with us week in and out. I'm big into stopping things when it's a good time to, not when I have to. I know I am going to get really busy here soon so I'm stopping before I have to. Again this isn't a final season with nothing to ever look forward to, but I think now is a good time to take a extended break before I start missing too many races. I hope you all understand. Let's enjoy the rest of this season!

I can't blame you one bit, especially with all of the problems there still are with GT6. Maybe even after a break the guys from the first seasons will be able to race with us again.

I'm retiring from gt6 after this season. I'm going to give it another go after a while (probably when GT7 is released) If 90% of what's wrong isn't fixed and fixed right, I will be done with console racing altogether. I have Iracing which is serious fun. Polar and I Irace all the time. If enough of us get Iracing, we might just have to get this series going again over there where we have a proper (although old, obsolete, and ugly) DP as well as a plethora of GT options. We can get more than 16 people per race. We can race most of the tracks the irl series races. Not to mention the servers are awesome and the physics are heavenly. It would be massive fun, but I have always enjoyed racing this series more than any other gt5 or gt6 series I've competed in. The group of guys we have assembled here are all awesome both old and new. Polar has done an awesome job with this series with the limitations of the game/servers. I sincerely hope that these issues will be resolved at some point. I'm in whenever I can make it going forward with this series.
