Have the handicaps on the registry been updated today? If so, I don't think there's any difference in my handicap after week 31 went official.

I'm still working on fixes to the code to properly display promoted rookies in the registry. The registry will also be sorted by current handicap rather than qualifying handicap. Look for the update later today or tomorrow.

I've posted the updated registry. Note that the format has change a bit:
  • racers are sorted within their division by their current handicap
  • current handicap is printed first, and qualifier handicap is printed next (if run)
  • some racers are in a division outside of their handicap; this usually means they haven't run enough events to warrant a promotion

Let me know if there are any missing or misplaced racers.

I'm not sure what exactly you're asking, but by being placed in a Division you are no longer a Rookie. Being a Rookie means you are still working on completing your first 3 time trials.

:)

EDIT: Wait... I think maybe the leaderboard was not updated. I was just confused, here it says I am in D4 when the leaderboard still shows ? after I did the 3 trials.
If you were to post new splits or submit for a new event, you would show in your placed division. For your 3 rookie events, you will always show in rookie division. It works the same for normal promotions. The division you are in when you submit for an event will not change. Promotions only affect future events.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up! :)

Did we lose Rotorist? I have him running, including this past week, 4 races (weeks 27, 29, 32 and 33), with the first 3 replays clean and green.

If you look in the Registry thread he (and probably some others) are listed in a division, but Vaxen mistakenly omitted them from this week's announcement list. DEPR (@Kjeld Lund) also was placed but not announced.

It just took a while for the browser cache to catch up to reality. I'll have to gripe to Microsoft because it should always be looking for an updated version of a page when I refresh.

I hate to be a stickler and a 🤬, (well actually I dont really hate it) but DEPR Kjeld Lund is in the registry like so:

Division 1 Bronze (1.667 - 1.999):
DEPR / Kjeld Lund / Denmark (2.323)

Shouldn't he be in Division 2 Gold (2.000 - 2.333)?
Or are there some numbers missing from his entry!

He had one great result (something like D1S level) but got a DQ. That could have created some confusion.
I think he would be good fit in either D1B or D2G.

I could turn some pretty impressive times also by cutting corners and short cutting tracks. Doesn't make me a level better driver. The point is that everyone except one driver in Division 2 Gold is showing a lower handicap than he is showing. One of three things need to be done.

1. Fix his handicap that is shown to a Division 1 Bronze if that is where he should be.

2. Put him in Division 2 Gold if that is his real handicap.

3. Promote all but one Division 2 Gold drivers to Division 1 Bronze ahead of him.

Let's wait for @Vaxen's explanation before making demands on what "needs" to be done. An important correction on a point that seems to be part of your assumptions is that he wasn't DQ'd on his D1B result, he was actually DQ'd on his worst result (D2B) so that one wasn't involved in averaging his initial handicap.

I do not hope my promotion becomes a problem. I'd rather move to D2S orsomthing like that. Instead of making problemes. I can work my way up from there. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Sorry Lucas, I might have accidentally started the rumour that it was a good result that got erased. I should just keep my big nose out of these things :)

You sure have D1 pace, you will get there sooner or later :)
