Using 6/9 BB, No AS, ABS 1.
1st corner requires hard steering, and practically full throttle, ride up the mound on the left as tight as physically possible, and then exit with 2 wheels on the grass on the right, turning the wheel reasonably hard, then opening out once on tarmac, may require lifts along the way, seeing 168km/h+ down the short straight means you've nailed it (saw 170 once and a .9 T1)
2nd corner brake down to 2nd gear at 93-95km/h and proceed to avoid hitting all inside rumble strips/cobble stones for the remainder of the lap (except for the chicane 1 corner after T1) Even the most minor touches spells disaster for exit speed, or you will only reach a similar exit velocity to that of a non rumble strip contact effort, therefore you will suffer a net loss as your entry speed will be poor in this situation)
3rd corner stay in 3rd, brake tap, glide a bit, and power out at just under 100km/h. Very important to be smooth when exiting (in general), with the steering wheel, If you're too fast exiting, no amount of extra turning of the wheel will help the cause, open out the steering lock reasonably early as it's an FF car.
4th corner, brake down to 115km/h, glide momentarily, power out 110km/h, avoid the inside stuff.
5th corner, brake down to low 120's, the limit I think requires a slight lift as you enter the tunnel as close as possible to the wall, at around 112km/h, avoid loosing track position is key.
6th corner I don't brake but commence a glide at the appropriate moment, 113-115km/h depending on line, you can gamble by cutting it ultra fine with the wall and you receive this extra bit of grip for some reason when you land, but difficult to time.
7th corner, brake but don't immediately downshift to 2nd, wait half a second, then power out at around 91-92km/h, avoiding using too much exit rumble, and especially no grass, compromises line and exit speed.
8th corner, 3rd gear, position car significantly over to the left before the jump, not all the way, but enough so that all that is required is a momentary lift once you land, accelerating out in full throttle ideally, I lifted slightly exiting because of carrying too much speed and lost a bit of speed at the following right kink, you should see 154km/h If you have ideal speed.
Since I know why had I lags at Monza (explanation in General Discussion thread), I think I will run KazSpa and Laguna Seca (would somebody gift me that MR-S? Don't have one ).
Just signed up for every race except Spa. This will be my first 'real' online race and can't wait untill tomorrow.
Decided to join an endurance race on my main account just before I saw that I was added to the database and this race marathon was tomorrow.👎
Guess im going to be putting in the hours tonight to be able to gift my new account (GTP_JSOCCER9) the cars.
See you guys on the track
I processed your online registration so you should show up shortly in the registration images. Also the PSN friend requests are incoming from our private lounges which are used for all events.
You won't need the car for Mountaineering as it's provided for you since we're using the car from the recommended garage (no tuning).
The cars for Decisions are not "giftable" if I remember correctly. You'll have to recycle your used car garage until one of them shows up which won't be too bad considering there are 3 to choose from. In case you didn't already know just flip through 5 of the B license tests... you don't have to run the tests, just load each one and then hit the right arrow to go to the next. When 5 load you'll have a fresh set of cars in the UCD. Rinse and repeat until one of those cars shows up.
If you don't have the Toyota Superautobacs Apex MR-S '00 I can gift that to you unless you already have it in your non GTP account.
Welcome and see you tomorrow on track.
I have the Toyota on my main so thats not an issue and it gives me an insentive to finnish the 4.5 hours left in my tuskuba race.
One question, because i missed the practice sessions I was thinking of putting in laps in the offline practice section but then realized the physics differences. So just wondering how big of a difference the physics are.
Thanks
Sent a FR to GTP_JSOCCER9. I'll be able to practice whatever after 9:30pm PT again tonight.
I think my sign-ups reflect those realities.
HydroI've just jumped in the lobby for some quick practice.
I might just run through each event for 20-30 mins or so, or until other drivers join.
I have 790hp on my GT-R N24 Schulze Motorsport '11, is that what you guys have? I'm just wondering if I put an upgrade on it that I shouldn't have.
