Confirmed for Mountaineering and a possible for Decisions, Decisions. :)

Thanks Tim. If there's an influx of people asking for the toyota in the next 24hrs then I can just pick it up from the ucd (probably later today at this rate). At the moment I'm doing the Dream Car seasonal to level up and get some cash, I need 1,250,000 credits to get both and I should have about that once I am done with it.

Car sent. If anyone else needs the "Toyota Superautobacs Apex MR-S '00" for "EDK Goes to Laguna" let me know. I can send you one from GTP_3D3Racing.

Just got the car Tim, thankyou:D. I can now confirm for all races now as I have found an Audi A4 Touring car as well now :).

Keep looking Jon, it's the Audi TT touring car you need :(
The A4 would kill the other cars.

Got it now. TT came up not long after the A4 and also the M3 GTR was just after that.

I've confirmed for the first three races and signed up as a reserve for Laguna. I'll probably try to race it, I just won't know until raceday.

This is great, Tim!! 👍👍

Nice 👍
You have the two that were used in the original event.
For some reason, no one tried the Opel in the online race even though it had good results offline.
Top 7 drivers from the offline WRS:
1---1'54.031---GTP_SuperSic - Audi
2---1'54.048---GTP_Yanaran - BMW
3---1'54.223---GTP_w-g-e - BMW

Division 2:

4---1'55.318---GTP_Carlos - BMW
5---1'55.408---GTP_ASH32 - Opel
6---1'55.695---GTP_UsualSupect - Opel
7---1'55.920---GTP_Roomboter -BMW
The Div 3 podium was Opel, Audi, Opel, and Div 4 had Blair (MilleRSVR) winning in the BMW.

I drove the Audi Offline, and BMW in the online race, so I just might give the Opel a shot this time.

I drove the Opel for the offline event, but didn't care for it online and I can't remember why. The fast laps online:

1 --- GTP_CSL (Audi) --- 1'57.099
2 --- GTP_Hydro (BMW) --- 1'57.201
3 --- GTP_WRP (Audi) --- 1'57.717

The top quali times were in the high 1'56 range if I remember correctly, but we had a long quali session with pits allowed at that point so probably low fuel runs.

I was trying to push the Opel for variety :D
You know I LOVE DTM's, so I'll probably try to tune the Opel to see if it can be as fast.
We've all learned a lot since that race with respect to online racing and tuning. Time to see if I've retained anything :dunce:

It may have been just a lack of a good online tune for the Opel... so if you come up with one I may just jump on that. It's the lightest and least powerful of the group so might be a nice option for tires given we're adding 5 laps to this race.

I'll be using the Opel if I can make the race (just need to find time to get a good tune). We used to drive the Opel & Vauxhall online in GT4 (2007) so it'll be nice to do it again:

Got the internet connection first time at hotel (winter holidays FTW :D ), checked GTP, and what I saw? My favourite combos I couldn't participate in (because I didn't know that GTP existed then :P ). Will race in first three races, and in fourth one if I wouldn't fall asleep till 3am my time 👍

I remember the Opel rockin' GT4 👍
I was sure I'd go with it in the Decisions race, but never got to testing a good setup for it.
Time to figure that baby out :)

Art, I know you have some issues connecting to the lounge last time.

You might want to use a few of our practice sessions between now and Feb 25 to test out your connection and troubleshoot. There is usually a practice session on Tuesdays at 8:00 GMT (90 minutes from now)... not sure if Hydro is going to host that at the normal time though and I am in business meetings so can't make it. But there will also be practices next Monday/Tuesday and we'll probably practice these 4 races the two days prior to the event (Feb 23/24).

Also, PD did totally mess up private lounges with 2.04 and is supposed to give us 2.05 within the next 72 hours so maybe they will take care of it for you. But better to be safe and test out before race time. Doing practice and getting a setup only to be DC'd constantly is very frustrating.

Speaking of practice if you guys are working on tunes or practicing for any of these combos I encourage you to use one of our lounges. Maybe we could set aside a lounge (GTP_3D3_B) between now and Feb 25 just for practicing and tuning for these races so we can leave the main lounge (GTP_3D3Racing) for the normal Wednesday combos. Just post a message to this thread anytime you hop in the lounge if you want someone to join you for some practice runs.

WRP, yep, I read your previous post about network settings in Rain Dance thread, the first thing I'm going to do when I will be back home on Saturday evening is to try changing them.
If nothing will go wrong I'll jump in the Monday/Tuesday practice you mentioned 👍

Ironically, Decisions Decisions is the only one I can be reasonably certain of. Might make either of the two later ones, but I'd have to be nuts to try Mountaineering as well (2AM!). I'll think about it :sly:

A maintenance had been scheduled few hours ago - 2:00pm - 11:00pm GMT at Thursday - the practice day.

Will its time be changed, or something? I mean, 207 and DTM races will be held way earlier than 11pm, and some people could chose them because they want some sleep instead of staying up late in front of PS3... I don't think they would do so for practice either. Just asking.

^^
Usually the maintenance schedule doesn't take too long.
That's a 9am EST start, and we rarely get on before 2pm EST (7 pm GMT) which is pretty close to the end of the maintenance window.
Hopefully it will be a short, but thorough maintenance period.

Practice sessions aren't usually very formal, so if time is short due to the maintenance, we can always just run through the combo's so all of the events get a bit of testing time.
I wouldn't be surprised if we opened the lobby around 3 pm EST (8PM GMT) and it stays open, until about 1 am EST (6am GMT).
Stay tuned, and we'll be more specific as Thursday approaches 👍

Going to jump in the lounge tomorrow morning 0530 central time for mountaineering practise. 1130 GMT I believe?

i would like to participate in the first three races, for all i can see, i have done what is needed, i've also registered but my name does not show up on the list, anybody know what the problem could be ? or did i do something wrong ?

You mean the races list? Give it 30 minutes to auto-update.
If you meant the driver database - wait until someone from staff will add you.

yes i mean the race list, ive entered many hours ago, so that should be ok by now.
about the drivers database, i can see my name inthere so i would guess that would be ok then....

Refresh the page with image, your browser could cache the old one - F5 / Shift+F5 / Ctrl+F5 (depends on browser that you're using) 👍

nevermind, didn't think, delete that post. please...

Don't worry. I'll fix it and you can race. I'll be on my pc in 90 minutes and figure out why you aren't being shown in the image. It looks like you did everything right from my iPhone, but need my pc to work with the google docs.

Thanks, not worried, just checking....

Found the issue... bug in a formula. It was only searching the first 66 drivers for the division assignment and were you lucky #67 -- fixed. You're now in the image.

Thank you. Would have prefered '68. ;)

Edit ; I will not be able to take part in the second race on saturday. The reason ? : I do not have one of these cars on my GTP account, as these cars are not 'giftable', i will only be participating in race 1 & 3.
Sorry for that. :)
