Oh im just realize the sunday GT cup, too late for me. ( hm im learning iam GmT+1.... Its 10PM)
So im sign up sunday/colorful bmw...
Is there any chance to share someone a lap time for a benchmark? (iam just around div4 or div5, so as i see lot of div1-2guys on the grid.. I really have to start practicing, to keep the pace around tha last place..:) )

I did a little practice last night and was mostly in the mid to high 1'22s with newer tires. There's also a link to the original event in the op which will give results from that race along with best lap times of each driver.

Can I just verify, when it says for Drivetrain/Suspension: All allowed, that means I can add Twin plate clutch etc? Or does that just mean I can adjust the LSD or something? Just because it doesn't specify the parts that should be equipped like it does for exhaust for example.

Yes all upgrades in those areas are allowed. The clutch upgrade, for example, can't be policed and does not impact PP so we couldn't really ban them it if we wanted without going full tuning prohibited.

Cool thanks man. Working on some practice now for the first race. Looking forward to it :)

Drivers participating in "The RUF Cup" please confirm/update your status by 21:00 GMT. Before I open the lounge for that race I'm going to check the list... if we are over 12 I'm going to set up the A lounge with mics-disabled. I'll announce which lounge we're using at that time.

All other races we should be fine in the main lounge, but as always, watch the thread.

IMPORTANT First race, tunning is allowed except for the gearbox, this must be standard !!!

Jon (JTV) was in the lobby now and said he is feeling rotten currently, and has gone to bed, said he isn't sure yet if he will be feeling better for the race this evening.

Just thought I'd say it here so you know that Tim in terms of numbers :)

I'm home. Witing for this godforsaken firmware update till I can go online...

We just finished quali, we are waiting in the lobby a few minutes for you to join :D

Thanks everyone for the great racing.

My pace showed how more practice would have done allot for me. In practice earlier I was getting low 2'13's, quali got some horrid 14's, then as I got into the flow of the race, I managed a 12.6 without draft and another 12.8.

Only managed to not come last due to Bart's DC (I guess thats what it was?) and because Frank didn't have a reverse button :sly: That will teach him a lesson! haha, unlucky mate, I definitely should have been last. I guess it shows that at least being consistent can pay off on the off chance someone ahead of you messes up badly.

Good racing Paul, and you deserved youre place, I should not have messed up in the first time, true, i do not use reverse when I race F1, and this was the first race I used the F1 wheel. Only realised i did not set it up when i was kissing the barriers.... at least there is loads more to come today, i guess that should make it easyier :)

Welldone James and Pekka giving youre pitcrew a day off :) Sorry Bart DC'd.....

About colorfull Conceptii for tomorrow: its not clear for me the regulation.
What i see Tuning is now allowed, without any PP regualtion,
But in the original event it was restricted engine tuning, Turbo charger, etc.
So, what is the regulation exactly for now this race.

Thx

Tunning was always allowed for this event, the links provided on the OP send you to the original regulation setting's for each event.

Hope this helps :)

Yes, the remaining HP will come after 300 km and then an oil change.

Im running some laps with this RUF...jeez this thing is a monster! :D Really looking forward to the race later. I wanna get my pace up so I can actually race with people this time, lol.

Work is killin me man, the first couple weeks I raced in the WRS I actually had lots of time to practice, and run it in the TT, which just makes the race so much more worthwhile. Lately just had no time for practice and it really shows.

Just finished the academy, i will be racing tonight.

@Tim, wich room needs to be set up for the RUF race ?

Thanks Frank.

I've just set up the main lounge and it's ready for RUF cup practice.

I don't know if we'll be over 12 as there are still reserves so I'm just going to go with this... if we have to move over just before the race we'll do so.

I'm gunna hop into the lobby now, could do with a tad more practice with wear on. I see your sitting in there now Tim :)

I should be there, just possibly late from the GATE finale. Hope to be there before or during Q. At least I got sleep and a little RUF practice, I guess.

One more question for sunday/deep f/bmw race.
Before the tunnel, is it possible to use the "concrete" left side part of the track?
( i hope my question is clear)
thx

That's dirty. See the pictures in the OP of the original time trial... scroll down near the end of that post...

Thx. Yep, thats not surprise me, but to be honest, which is clear example in the picture, its not 100%clear for me too, because non of any tires on the track (if we talk about track between the 2white line), but i understand these tires in the red/white kerb...

Rumble strips are classed as part of the track in WRS.

Here is a link to the ORL rules, if you have not read them before, it's advisable to have a read before the race tommorrow as it's your first race aswell :).

Nice race at GValley.
Don't know what happened with Bart, checked the replay, and it looks pretty weird.
Had a nice close finish, this is what 0.009 seconds look like.
Sorry Pekka 👍

Edit:can't upload picture.:grumpy:

Great second race at Nurb guys. It seems I will never learn my lesson when it comes to fuel :( Was so looking forward to being halfway up the table haha...I guess I will have to wait for that.

Here are the results from day #1. Congratz to Twissy for two poles, two wins and two fastest laps. :boggled:

The RUF cup was just awesome... can we do it again?

PS> Was I seriously the only North American driver to participate today? At least I got the stars and stripes on the podium once.

EDIT: There's an error on Noize's result as it should say 32 laps. will update that later... let me know if you notice any other errors or omissions.
