Hi all,
I'm very sorry and embarrassed to say that I have to withdraw my time from the competition. After reading the entire thread on the event (and question posted there), I've re-examined my lap, and there is a spot in the first lap where my 4 wheels are outside the yellow line (I thought this was permitted because the blue racing line crosses that yellow line... lame excuse, I know).

My sincere apologies to Sphinx for giving him more work for nothing. I can repay by watching other people's replays (NTSC), since apparently now I understand the rules.

Hey LinPark thanks for the feedback. It was a damn intense race and there was a close call there, but I sincerely believe it's clean and it adds to the intensity of motorsports! I had several replays saved at one point but ended up submitting this one. It was hard to get a clean AND relatively quick time but it was a huge sigh of relief to be able to submit this one! I wish I had a wheel to use haha the DS3 controller is only so responsive (but hugely improved in Spec3 imo). Hope the race admins find my submission satisfactory! I noticed in the above thread I haven't quite made it out of the frying pan yet haha..though I'm looking forward to stage 2...

Vaxen, I remember racing your Z06 tuned w/ my Mine's R34 on 750pp Suzuka, I demand a rematch except this time I'll be in my Amuse S2K...IT'S ON!

If my PAL disk would hurry up and get here I could have done some more - I learned even more watching the replays than I did doing the event. Basically, if the user is in the US or Canada, I grab it and watch it on my NTSC version - if they are somewhere else you'll need a PAL version to review it and I should have one of those before the end of this week.

I'm sure someone else will review it shortly for you.

Hope this worked, I used the standard windows zip software as shown by Sphinx's illustrated example. But this same windows default zip software, along with WinZip software, will not unzip the replays posted here by others after copying to my PC. Go figure.


*EDIT* OK. After uploading my zip file, I then tried saving it from the post back to my PC under alternate name; and I can't even unzip my own file! I still have the original and it unzips.

Unzips fine for me - it looks clean to me but I want Sphinx or Vaxen to check it out too - the only part I'm looking closely at is in Lap 1 just after T1 you drift into the grass on the right a bit but I think you have 2 tires on - then the rumble strip on the lefthand side directly between the 2 hairpins you cut very closely - again I think you keep 2 tires on the rumble strip from what I can see using the bumper cam for the car in front of you. I think this is fine so let's see what one of them has to say about it. Nice job by the way.

• Yellow Rumbles are part of the track
• Where white and yellow lines are placed along the edge of the track determine the boundry of the track. There are however some areas where this is not the case, therefore, please use common sense to determine the boundary in these areas. However, if common sense fails then ask in the discussion thread. The excuse that you didn't know is not good enough at this level.

3 Wheels off immediately prior to the yellow rumble strip in the center of the infield. While the yellow rumbles are part of the track, the dirt between the white boundary and the yellow rumble is not.

I believe the mistake was innocent, but was seen on both laps 1 & 2.
