GTP_Registry and GT6 - Aiming for Dec 22 GT6 Qualifier!!!

I had to open a new Id for Gt5 hadn't found out about WRS at the time. Glad I could start the game with the right psn this time.
 
Most of my playtime will be on my regular account, so I would prefer that the GTP_ is not required, especially given the lack of gifting and low-ish payouts.
Having said that, I will grin and bear it if it is required. Will just mean I will have to take the time to get to whatever event the qualifier is and an event that gets some decent Cr.

i actually just thought of something. i have the digital edition of GT6, can i even use my GTP account since i purchased it with my rayuki_84 account? lol if not i might not even be able to participate this time around if we are forced to use our GTP psn accounts. bah :(

The best way is to sell the VGT M4 for 20M, then update the game again, now you can buy 20 VGT's 100s of M4s, reset the game again, and now you can sell all the M4's for 20M each and buy everything you want.

I know what I will be doing after work 👍. Thanks for the tip about the M4, that is much better than selling the Mercedes for extra cash. Spend a few hours doing this, and you will never have to grind for a car again. I am half way through the IA races and have made about 3.5M, I have no idea how you would ever be able to buy the $20M cars at that rate.
 
I have done the above trick for my GTP account in waiting for the qualifier. :D
 
I did it last night as well. Works very well. Just remember to back up your game progress before you start (and regularly thereafter) until the games is more stable.

Stick at it! NASCAR and karts are quite tough compared to other events which you can easily dominate. I had fun today holding off the. Minolta and R92CP doing the GT world champ in the R89C - so hard to get it going again when you've spun round on the ring - it's probably a lot easier with driving aids :lol:

Still can't win all the nascar events though.....
 
Yeah... the GT World Champ... Finally completed it last night so that I could have access to the Super License tests. I first tried it with the R8 LMS (15th ann.), which was very hard to drive. Looked for a tune, when I came across your thread where a lot of people seem to be having problems with it... then switched to the GT-R NISMO GT3 15th ann. with turbo stage 3 and had less problems. Still have to go back eventually to gold everything, though.
 
After a day off doing the glitch and stocking my cars and bankroll, I am ready to resume. Currently almost half way on IA, close to opening S licenses.

So, Patrick, you didn't have any problem restoring your 15th anniversary cars and paints, etc. afterwards?
 
The deletion doesn't remove the small updates that give the anniversary cars I don't think. Pretty sure I still have mine. Didn't check paints.......

I just won my 100th race and have only earned 2.6 million cr. Wasn't going to do this infamous glitch but caved in, no way to use the cars in the game THAT I PAID FOR...... >:(

Played the game loads and still barely affordable Le Mans prototypes.

Aaaanyway - 24 minutes of Le Mans is amazing :)
 
I reentered the codes in the play station store and they came back. I have read that some don't have to reenter codes they just go to the previously downloaded content, but my car , paint, etc packs were not there. The other thing you have to do is update all the images after the glitch, do that and walk away as it will take a while. It is nice having choices while doing the events, instead of modding a road car and blocking like crazy to win:lol:. I still go under the PP to make the event interesting.

I remembered in GT5 you had to set FFB to 10, after that it was much easier. I think NASCAR FFB has to be set to 10 also.
 
When you revert back to the previous version of GT6 do you lose all game data?
 
You don't lose anything cept a few buyable cars, that's why it works - they somehow, for some crazy reason, set invalid cars to be worth something like number.maxvalue ( for those programmers out there :))

As soon as the game fails to recognise the car, it's worth 20 million to sell (max cr in v1.00 of the software)

I did that and never see anything after doing the glitch twice. Oh well, I have them all and the glitch does take time, but not near the time to accumulate the credits to buy the cars you want.
 
I'm not going to do that credit farming due to how long it took just to update to 1.01 the first time.

No, you keep the same game progression. You will lose videos and photos only. A small price to pay. One reminder be careful when you revert back to v.1.0 that you never choose anything on the glitch cars other than to sell them, anything else will freeze the game. I made 3 saves during the process, my original game, then I saved after I bought all my M4s before deleting the 1.01 patch , then after buying all my cars in v1.0. I have multiple memory sticks to do that with, or save them to PC. It may be overboard, but I just wanted to be sure. One other reminder is do not select the M4 before going back to v 1.0, it will crash the game, have the Fit or some other car selected.

Just completed the S license tests. Mohit, your were insanely fast on that last one :eek:

Throughout those five tests, I had Mohit, Jon and Blair in my friends' rankings, and I could see their blue lines... except for one test (S-4 I think) where only two blue lines showed up for some reason... (Mohit's wasn't there)... strange. Actually, I did notice that for the M4 seasonal as well, two or three blue lines were missing.
 
The Mustang at Apricot Hill license test didn't update the friends ranking for me first time out, so I went back and had to beat my time to get it updated.
 
Hi Guys,

Been a long time since I've fired up the PS3. I really like the new physics and tire model in GT6, much better than GT5 IMO. Looking forward to the GT6 qualifier. I forgot how much I enjoyed running the weekly WRS events.

I see lots of promotions happened since I've been away. Great to hear Chris is on the WRS management team.

Can't wait to get back to the time trials once they start up again.
