You can have gold... but you gotta beat Twissy to get it :P

He's just one stepping stone towards my ultimate goal, which is to beat Ti-tech in the GT Academy time trial and prove myself as the greatest GT player. :)

Haha! The only handicap I'll settle for after this is a minus number!
I'm so happy we can finally re-qualify though! This time I will put a lot of time into it! (at least 15 mins ;))

To follow-up what @WRP001 wrote, I don't have a favorite car yet. I'm only 22% through the career with about 700 recorded miles on my main profile but another 300 miles recorded on the GTP_ account not counting the hours put into the X-Bow Mt Panorama event online. My favorite track is Ascari although I spent most of my time on it the first couple days and have been doing events since. I decided early in Novice to play the rest of the career with ABS 0 and HUD off from the cockpit view. It is so immersive and a really great experience. It makes for some competitive races and horrendous mistakes at times. I always finish every race though, no restart for me. I haven't spent much time playing the past week because of work and won't be able to touch the qualifier much until after the first unfortunately. I'm super excited to see the combo and start WRS no matter where I qualify. I will be proudly sticking with my GTP_mcfizzle account. Good luck everyone.

I can't quite tell if you're being serious or not...

Well, Andrew, where some see lack of modesty, I see ambition. If and when you do prove yourself to be the greatest, that's when you'll get your chance to also prove your modesty...

It's the 22nd for more than half of the world, right now.... just sayin'... :D (but I guess we have to wait for the west coast to reach tomorrow... :P)

So, I've been trying ABS 0 tonight (with a 3/1 BB), and I quite like it, I must say. I've been trying to control the GT40 Mark I 15th ann. '66 (stock) for the Historic Racing Car Cup race #2 at Apricot Hill, and found it to be quite a challenge, but very enjoyable at the same time. Most times I had pretty bad offs, but in my last attempt I had 4 pretty good laps and finished in 4th, 4 or 5 seconds behind the leader. With a few more months practice, I should be able to win the race with that car... I'll certainly go back to it from time to time.

I remember when I was young and arrogant, but I was good and I knew it. It's what goes with greatness!! ;) Not speaking of Gran Turismo, but my profession, Firefighting. Hey Doodle give it Hell!!

ABS 0 is a bit hit and miss here in GT6, some cars feel amazing and some (especially those with racing brakes) will just lock up with just a slight push on the pedal (the Racer Concept Stingray is a really good example of this) even with BB at 0/0. Hopefully the MKIV isn't like this, as that could be a game breaker for me. 👎

I'd also have said that 3/1 with the Mark I is a tad low, I tend to use 5/3 on that car. It just means high speed braking is improved without hampering control-ability at lower speeds. 👍

And I believe Hawaii and Alaska are one hour behind California time but don't quote me on that. I'm curious to see what the qualifier is gonna be myself

True, but quite a few of our stewards/admins are from California and Seattle... hence my remark. ;)

In all honesty Bob, they probably won't be posting untiltomorrow sometime and that's if its ready. Remember, they're aiming for the 22nd.. could be later too

I'm just trying to tease them a bit, even if they deserve better for all their hard work :cheers:

Oh, and call me Daniel. :D

I knew your name, it just slipped my mind lol. Been on the road for 11 1/2 hours now and the past 4 has been crazy wind gusts and hard rain. Mental fatigue has set in and its time to pull over. Hope to see a qualifier when I wake up even I I can't partake in it yet :)

I must say that I love the new Redbull X Jr challenges and cars. The sound of those cars is really good. I thought they were the most fun that I had of any of the challenges. The HP on those is just about my speed. In GT5, I never could gold the Vettel challenge at Suzuka. Maybe I am too old for those cars as my hands never quite caught up to turning those cars quite fast enough for what my brain was telling me to do. I guess I could have spent hours and hours and golded that one, but it felt like torture to me.

I am a huge x car hater! Never go near....am I missing out with junior version? Is it slightly less idiotic?
