Wow, I'm in Division 3, which is actually better than I thought I would do. Well congratulations to everyone, disregarding to where you've come.

Also a big thanks to Sphinx for all your hard work. đź‘Ť

And a cart full of beer for Sphinx

(yes, that is a washing machine in the middle)

Heyyyy, gold Division 3. I didn't expect it since I did found some bananas on the road while driving with my dual shock 3.

I see you BJM, nd4holdenspd and P3nT4gR4m, on it. Nice to meet you there !

Actually that was the easy bit. The 2 stage event that will start this week will be the tester, for everyone. :sly:

Division 5 here. I was kind of expecting to be in the mid-range of Division 4, but I guess I'm not that great with the Ferrari.

Amazing work Sphinx. My respect one more time, thanks for all your effort.

Surprised about that 2 stage event you're talking about, it'll be great !!. I hope that the future events will have plenty time to do them since the university starts this month >_<

Plenty of time to improve, and plenty of drivers here to help. đź‘Ť

Great work Sphinx,
I'm kicking myself for submitting two weeks ago! congrats to all for your achievements. Looking forward to racing Div2 woohaa.

Uh oh, I don't like the sound of that, reserve a space for me in Div 5.

how will those events take place since we don,t have private rooms.

the match making system in GT5P is really random

We are somewhat restricted, I admit that, but I have a few ideas that might just work. Hell, if it doesn't work, at least we'll have fun trying.

I'm not going into any detail here, however all I will say is that Stage 1 will be Time Trial, and those who do well in the Time Trial will proceed to a head to head Stage 2 online race...

...maybe. :sly:

Everyone will have a good chance in going onto Stage 2. That's what the Gold Silver and Bronze is for.

I said too much.

Are you challenging me for the title of King Crap?:sly: I only realised a better way of driving that car after I submitted, stupid MR, not my preferred drivetrain for sure.

Well at least you were driving the car. I was just herding it between the rumble strips. :dunce:

Oh god, now I'm REALLY excited.

This is all too much for me, I think I need a lie down...

i got div 4 gold but i only posted an average lap time to make sure i go up rather than down the league. how's the 2 stage event work sphinx?

Looking forward to it! đź‘Ťđź‘Ť

BTW: would it be possible to use a web front end to whatever database GTPlanet runs (MySQL?) to automate the time entry for future events? I could probably help out with this, and there are undoubtedly others with experience with this sort of thing as well...

In the meantime, let me add another đź‘Ť for a job well done, Sphinx!

All the good guys, and gal, are gold in division 3!

:D

Its hard to fathom how the divisions are split up tho. OK faster guys are higher divisions... But there are 11 drivers in division 1 'gold', and 50 or more in Division 3 'gold'.
In fact there appears to be more drivers in Division 3 gold than ALL of Division 1.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, or moaning or grumbling, just intrigued as to the methods of splitting up the divisions.
If there were a division 1 silver race for instance. You'd not get a full grid more than likely, but if there were a Division 3 gold race... there be fights for who's first in the queue to get out on track, with enough drivers for two or possibly three grids.

Good going tho Sphinx, to get this all together. I don't envy ya!!

Now there's an offer I would be stupid to refuse. đź‘Ť

I may need a bit of time but I'll certainly throw some User Requirements your way. đź‘Ť

Put the word out and see who else is interested. đź‘Ť

Perhaps it's something to do with the times themselves, like in GT itself - if you're within a certain time, then you're in gold, less than that to a certain amount, then silver, etc.

It's all based on times submitted. the golds in division 1 are easy to work out why they are gold, just look at the online leader board. As for division 3, there were so many submitted times that were very close together it would've been wrong to have split them up because they all qualified within a certain time frame.

lets not argue about why it is like this and like that , just savour the moment.
Div 3 and gold for me but suprised to see alot of people who ive faired up pretty nicely online to be 50/100 places above me.
ime happy at where i am as you can only improve and the only way is UP.

Thanks once again Sphinx.

Looks like theres a few moderators in my div & Super ones aswell:nervous:

I made it in to DEVISION 4 silver :)
F430 and SUZUKA are not a good mix for me ... but no excuses right? hehe
I am glad I made it in, can't wait to see private rooms and some good competition going on.

Congratulations to everyone in DIVISION 1 I bet you are the back bone for GTP vs the world ;)

Also congrats to everyone in all 5 divisions.
Lets be proud, slow or fast, let us wear GTP tags online and destroy the competition with respect.

Holds thumbs for PRIVATE ROOM PATCH to come out any minute in FALL!
