I want to thank Sphinx for creating the qualifier combination (Ferrari at Suzuka) and all the time and effort you have put into the Registry. 👍

I want to say "Congrats" to Timppaq for putting up the fastest lap.
With this and your GT Academy placement I'm glad your on our side.

I thought it was going to take you much longer to get the results together.

Funny, I ended up at the top of Div 2 silver: I tried for a couple of hours to knock off the 5 thousands of a second to take me under X.XX thinking it might get me into the next higher divsion: but...I...just...couldn't...manage...it! :crazy:

Congrats to Timppaq & the other fast times. Thank God we don't have too many Japanese at GTP (except L_Hamilton, of course ;)) - they really are unbelievably fast.

EDIT: Do not discuss your lap times. The lap times are meant to be for division placement only.

Great job, Sphinx, both on the qualifier itself and making the list. 👍 I didn't expect the list to be up this fast, especially now i see how many members have submitted a time. That had to be a lot of PM's :scared::nervous:

I'm really happy where I am. I've had a lot of great races with some guys who are close to me in the list. :)

Nice going Jerome, I knew you would make it to Div 1 with the time you set on the leaderboard 👍

I for one seem to always land in Div 2 for the qualifiers, same for GT3 WRS and GT4 WRS... I see some familiar people in Div 2, it's gonna be fun working my way up again :) (6-axis D-pad ftw!)

...almost forgot, nice work Sphinx, hope you'll be able to get some sleep soon!

Although I'm new here I already have a certain respect for Sphinx as well as the Mod Staff on GTPlanet for organizing this. I've never seen such professionalism in an online community before and I'm also certain that it's members have alot to do with it as well. I look forward to racing with you guys.
 
Well I am happy with my placing considering I had two months or so in which laziness got the best of me ( my bad :( ) so I only attempted two brief sessions, never hit 'the' lap I wanted but it's ok.

Very, very nice lap Timo... I remember looking at the on-line rankings with a week or so to go and you'd dropped out of the top 100... was beginning to think you were sandbagging... of course I should have known better :)

And just to echo everyone's comments... really great work Sphinx 👍
 
Wow, looks like I logged out a bit early yesterday... Anyway, 3rd Division Gold, is a very nice wake-up surprise!

From previous online experience, I have the feeling some members there have kept a little under the foot, so I will have to watch my back for sure.

I’m very pleased, and believe it’s now the right time to wear that nice GTP_ Tag and give it a ride!

It will never be said enough so MANY THANKS to Sphinx making that up!:cheers:👍

... and of course many thanks to Jerry for all his great work. While Vaxen is thinking about the frontend time-input thingy 💡 I will try to duplicate the Luxy board into something usefull for Prologue WRS.

Div5 for me ... well I always was the listcloser anyway, although I have the feeling I was only .108 away from Div4 :)
 
Ah, top of Division 3 Silver....I wondered whether I should have shaved off the .009 of a second or not.
I'm happy to be in the same division as Pentagram, GT4 Genius, Vanuber7, Crooky, mindwise, nd4holdenspd, BJM.......etc, I've raced all of them before at some point.

Ah, Genius, you will be my nemesis in this division I think :mischievous:.
I think I'm in the right division anyway, I think I could of probably made it into division 2 with some intense concentration but I didn't feel it was worth it as it wouldn't accurately show how much effort I normally put into laptimes. Division 1 I knew was way out of my reach from the start.
All I know was I put in about 5 hours of practicing total to get my time and after a week or so I came back to it and couldn't beat it. I think that decided for me that it was time to submit.

I'm no hotlapper anyway. :)
 
Yeah DIV 3/GOLD! never expected that, i only had 2 days to qualify... my GTP registry was accepted last friday :D

At first i was a little disappointing that i hadn't got time to really practice and push for a good or near perfect lap but now that the results are in i'm actually quite happy with it... a blessing in disguise if you will :D

ps. mucho gracias to all (Sphinx) who made this possible, can't wait for the next event :)
 
Seeing all those names really gives you some idea of the amount of work Sphinx has done for this... a massive thanks to Sphinx for getting all this organised and maintained so well, and a large dose of caffeine is in the post to the rest of the WRS team for the future, too :P

Respect to all those at the sharp end, but every division will be a real challenge 👍

I was beaten by a girl??? Now I'm headed for some kind of chauvanism/machismo/testosterone meltdown :crazy:
