Hey guys just wondering if the qualifier must be run offline? I couldn't find anything in the 'registry and qualifying' thread and just wanted to check.

I'm pretty sure the qualifier can be run online, if you make the board, you're doing VERY well!!
 
I thought it had to be done OFFLINE, but just checked and there is no mention, so ONLINE is fine. To make the Top 100, you'll have to be flying! Good luck. 👍

I've got a question! Why is prologue "SUGGESTIVE THEMES"????, Is it because of the Coca Cola Ads (Lmao). It can't be lyrics, because if it was it would clearly say "LYRICS"on the back. Also will the Martini Lancias in GT5 be censored?

Having owned GT5 Prologue for a while now I decided to try a race online... I thought 'it cant be as bad as everyones making out...' WHAT IN THE BEJESUS WAS THAT? if I wasnt spending 90% of the race watching a car infront twitch and snap around every bend I'm getting shunted off the track every other turn... Seriously! Sorry for the random rant, but I didnt know where to post this. I just want to know are all the online races like this or did I just get unlucky?:ill:

This certainly isn't the place to discuss it, but it sounds like you were a victim of lag, due to a poor connection. Most often, this is due to a poor host connection, but can happen because of issues with your own connection. It's more prevalent in the World Competition Events, but can occur in any of the events.

I have a high speed cable connection and for me, lag rarely if ever occurs. It will be interesting to see what happens with GT5 and the new private rooms.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, you need to create a new PSN account in the name you want.

Also, although it seems nitpicking, please post properly using capital letters and punctuation. It really does help improve the quality of our forums. Thanks.

thnx for the thread. What im confused about is it says: "Save the 'Save Best Lap Replay' (ghost replay), not the 'Save Replay', and keep it at least 6 weeks after your time has been submitted." how do i submit the lap time. do i just save the best lap replay??

You just run the time trial offline and save best lap replay and keep it for about 6 weeks. Then you sent your laptime, with the T1 and T2 splits, your location (on or offline) and your PSN name. You should get a PM in a week after you submitted it and if you're in div 1 you must send a replay of your lap, if you're in div 2, 3, 4 or 5 you don't have to send a replay.

It's just the homepage. It's the first page you see after you start the game and you can view your replays by selecting replay on the menu. You can view your splis by pressing the square button wile your watching the replay. Everything clear now?
