Here's my car, hoping to get a few cups outta her! :D
Syracuse - Night.jpg

I tested a load of cars today, from an S2000 to a Supra to this. I finally picked this because for one it's blisteringly quick and I also enjoy driving it the most.

One question: Can I use my current account to this championship? Or then do I have to create a new one to be accepted to the championship? Just a question, nothing else!

:banghead: lag only today... (btw - a santa with headache and bruises??? :sly:)

I think know what caused this:

That's less then 100m away from my door... Everything looks like this here actually including the 4G antennas...

Good racing today everyone! I was gutted to go over the cap in the quali by .030 at deep forest,:banghead: especially since I won the race in the end but it happens! Had a good battle with Ned @Nail-27. He had so many opportunities to pass me but was patient and nearly got past me around the bend after the tunnel.

I was nice and cautious with the qualifier at Autumn ring but qualified a measly 8th and had my work cut out. I had a great start passing about 3 cars going around the outside of the first corner and had a really good battle with @goofytyler before I eventually caught up to Javier who was in a pack fighting for the lead. After a few costly mistakes I dropped back down into 6th where I fought hard to retain my position against the much faster Lucas @Gravitron.

On the last lap I tried to dive up the inside of Mike's @mr_lab_rat car and even though it seemed to be a gentle tip, it spun him out. I waited in an absolutely convenient position of right smack bang in the middle of the track :dunce:. I was lucky not to cause trouble for Lucas. Luckily, everyone retained their original positions. I'm sorry about the incident.

All in all a good night of racing as always!

It wasn't that I couldn't get around darren, it was...what the h do I do when I get there....in fact I gave him a big lift and gave him the lead when I figured out that leading the parade was not in my best interest as I had absolutely no clue what was slow enough as I got faster and faster as the race went on....I could let him get WAAAY OUT THERE...in the twiddley bits and then ....through the double left and back straight I would catch him up... Then I would lift starting downhill so as not to pass. Then he taught me how to blast through the last turn while trying to slow down....thanks Darren...just what I needed..took another second off. I really learned allot ....but I really could have done without the under the cap qualifier .

And every time Id think...I can hold off Darren...Id see that friggin red WIDE corvette lurking...

Second race was funner:gtplanet:

EDIT: I lied....being in front is exilerating....to quote Manfred von Ricthofen....ANYTHING ELSE IS RUBBISH. :gtpflag:

Er...what new club
You should have received a message/invite to the new club inside of GT6. It was created so any of the admins/stewards can run it, not just Bart.

And yes, the second race was a lot more fun, mostly because I didn't try to get to the front.

Great racing today everyone! Thanks for waiting and restarting when I DC'd. :indiff:

Congrats on the wins @Gameratwork99 and @Iceman220, but the points-winner is still To-Be-Determined. :D

Got invite but as usual it was flawed...no way to join...and no club room # either.

Are you reading the message from the home screen?

If you read it from within the 'Community' section you should have the option to join the Club.

Go to community>timeline> (if any of your friend has joined the club, click on it you would be directed to the club)>join in (this option would be available if you received the invite)

I seemed to have prepared better for the first race than the second, qualified 6th!👍 However, multiple mistakes at the beginning of the race took it's toll. There were some good (brief) battles all the way to the back.

On the last lap I tried to dive up the inside of Mike's @mr_lab_rat car and even though it seemed to be a gentle tip, it spun him out.

I began the second race by doing the same thing to @Nail-27 (Sorry, Ned!) in the first lap. It seemed like a tap, but I think his outside wheels were on grass when it happened. I didn't find my treads until the 5th lap and then only managed a 1:33.xxx on two or three laps.:dunce:
I did not do enough testing at Autumn Ring:ouch:

Due to trying to thread my way through the traffic I was on the very edge of adhesion so a tiny puff of wind would have had me off....I set myself up...you finished me off..not to worry...I liked the concession....well done.

No worries! I was extra sensitive to contact initiation, after my drive-by on @Iceman220 last week. :embarrassed:

Quick question

I don't have much time to do TTs these days with schoolwork and football training consuming a lot if my time so I can only really do the races on the weekends.

So can my handicap decrease by just doing well in the races or do I have to do the TTs?

Credit table results from the 80's - 90's cup, i've not included the drivers who have missed a event from the National B Championship.
@Gameratwork99 has taken the lead after his bonus for the .001 lap and not buying a car for the FF and 80's - 90's cup :)

After you add the obscene cost of my FR car, I'll be in the red until the last race. Oh well; I got a top ten out of it.

The handicap is based solely on the TTs, so if reducing it is your goal, you have to do them.

Of course, you don't have to do the TTs to race online. There, the only thing the handicap affects is any potential room splits.

I just asked if those times were correct , you both receive the same amount as each other :sly:.

I'm just waiting for a few cars to be added to the credit tracker then the results will be up tomorrow, then you will find out .

Added my car (45k for that fat pig). I hope there will be a 500PP and/or muscle car event so I can get another chance to use it.
