I wont buy a Honda this time but still a JDM fighter. That's the GT86.Great balance and even greater fun! With sport hard tires can provide consistent fast lap times without any drama. You can take a corner almost any way you like.I prefer the lack of power on straights than the lack of grip.

Nice, I'm curious how it's going to hold up against heavy but powerful American muscle cars on Comfort tires.

A nice mix is brewing here, with different approaches to reaching the lap time limit. That can only mean more fun :gtpflag:Comfort soft, at least with the S2000, allows me to run decent power. Very interesting to see how the power changes affect car handling and having to adjust to that in the driving, which it's making me learn a lot. Doing the testing AND the races is almost like planning our own TT 👍

I've opened a room to practice.

Room closed.

I agree with this. I've done some practicing with my Silvia, I seem to get more power in the straights on CS tyres, but in the corners it feels like I'm just throwing it in and hoping for the best, whereas on SH tyres I more than make up for the lack of speed with the increase in handling, to the point where I have to drop the PP quite a bit (to around 400-405, I still need to fine tune, draft test etc).

I think this is the way I'm going to go though, I'd rather run an underpowered, better handling car than risk ruining both mine and other driver's races due to instability in the corners.

Yes, you might run circles around me in the corners but I'll zoom by you on the straight "like a Boss" :D

All I can say is, Genesis is having a reunion this Sunday (hopefully) and in two weeks time so book your tickets as they will sell out quick ;).

Is Phil Collins singing or just playing drums where he belongs? Is his daughter going to be there? :sly: You're welcome

Been some fun practices the past few nights running both the Corvette and trying out the cars Mike's been trying out.

Also, I think we have the results pretty close to sorted out and I'll be posting them later when I get home, just want to double-check them once more.

I'll be practicing at about 15:00-16:00 GMT tomorrow, if anyone can make it that'd be great, my (not so) rigorous practice needs a hole filling, in the form of draft testing.

I might join you.I need draft testing too

I gained about 5 tenths from T2 to finish at DFR in draft. It also affected the next lap (about 2 tenths) because of higher speed from the start to turn 1.

Practice room open in GTP_WRS. Patrick may show soon, and we may be here long enough to see Mike join (if the "BAWS" is practicing tonight :P).

BAWS? I don't know what it means but I suspect it's a joke pointing back to Tyler comparing me to Bart yesterday :)

I can't join you tonight but I'll be running some laps tomorrow and Saturday.

Practice room no longer up, we're at Fuji now and about to pre-qualify someone, so please don't join until you see the all-clear in that thread.

No, it's just a funny way to write BOSS. ;)

Penalties:
  • @GTPCrispyOne received a 30 second penalty for not waiting after causing contact.
  • @goofytyler received a 30 second penalty for not slowing after a sub- 1'22sec lap.
  • @PHO3NIX_F1RE ...ummm...nice lap. :ouch:

Motegi was a bit of a firewalk...sorry everyone for the Internet Blues :indiff: But in spite of that, it seemed to provide some really close racing.

From the front (@Nickonen) on down. 👍

Great racing at Silverstone with @mr_lab_rat wheel to wheel stuff without any contact!Well deserved cup winner.@Gameratwork99 Unicque achievement!Amazing race between @roamer2629 and @mr_lab_rat at Eiger! The only reason I won at Motegi it was because @PHO3NIX_F1RE let me.Thanks @Gravitron for your kind comments.
By the way I want to thank the guy who reported me.If he didn't I wouldn't know that I was mistaken for some things about the cap rule.Next time I will be 100% fair.I didn't mean any disrespect to anyone.

Opening a practice room in 5-10 minutes if there's not one already open. I'll be there for an hour or so.

Wow, that was close. With couple of tenths better qualification at Eiger Nick could have had the cup.

Great clean races with Nick, Darren, Patrick and Javier.
Insane qualification at Motegi - 47.097 was only good for 5th, 47.279 for 10th, and nobody went too fast (well, at least in qualification :))

I can already guarantee you won't hear the Czech or Canadian anthem after the FR cup.

Don't even get me started, I've dropped to 391pp and still about .5 faster than I should be. -_-

Hey...how did I lose money...was I penalized for not making the last races....thought I had 107,500 but now 74xxx...just enough to buy car:confused:
