It's scary to see how well you manage your budget. The RX7 is only your second car and you are good for next two events.
I'll be bellow 100k when I buy my FOURTH car :)

Whew...more better...thanks...also thanks to you and Grav for the help selecting my car...it is a perfect car for those of us who are, shall we say...mere mortals....ancient mere mortals to boot. :sly: About 20k more than the 04 vette which was a close second but no where near as confidence building...I just love most BMWs because they are just like they said in their older ads "drivers cars". Predictable to a fault and that ole 6 is a beast. Until you have driven a real Jag Xj6 or a BMW 6 it is really had to understand how they pull....forever. Double overhead cam 6 forever.:bowdown:

Edit: total of two cars so far....Trd Celica and the BIMMER. Green with yellow wheels....no number...cheap screws made the worlds best selling sports sedan an non premium...

You guys are here, testing various cars for Sunday's race and I haven't turned my PS3 on since Monday:lol:. Better get cracking! 💡
 
Oh right, you still need a car.
In my testing I didn't find too many cars that could easily reach the targets on all 4 tracks (on CS tires).

S2000 - easy
RX7 - easy
Camaro SS '10 - easy (and a lot of fun)
S15 - yes
Mustang Boss - yes
BMW 135i - yes
Challenger - barely
Charger - nope (it's a boat)
CTS-V - don't remember but probably not
IS-F - nope

Anybody up for some testing after the race today? I'll probably open a room around 10pmGMT. Got some fine tuning to do...
Has to be a bit later, Argentina-Netherlands on Women's hockey means my wife owns the TV for a while...

Unfortunately, my work schedule means that I will have no more time to test before the race on Sunday, so I'm either going to have to dial it back a bit more and hope for the best, or drive a little less aggressively during the actual race. :(
 
I'm opening a practice lobby at the old wrs club right now. Will be there for an hour or so.

Genesis has had to cance there participation tonight :(, due to some muppets :). Luckily due to comittment of some die hard Fans the event will still go ahead.

Thanks to the Admin and Steward team for covering enjoy, the races and have fun everyone :).

There's 14 registered (and once I dial in my car, it should be 15). Since we can have 16 in a room, stick around.
 
Is it just me or the registration form is a little moody today? Sometimes I get it blank, sometimes I see some flags missing...

If memory serves, the update to get today's race listed was a rush job because Paul's computer crashed.

Yes. I remember thinking that all it took was me winning my first race for his computer to crash in disbelief :D
 
Since I didn't get any practice in, I've got a room set up in the "old" WRS club.
 
If I can get the power down far enough on what I want to run at Deep Forest, I've got a killer Brit. No, I won't make back the money in this round, but I strongly suspect we'll have a British Lightweight Cup.
