Think I am done. Having trouble staying with my ghost 90% of the time and just getting very frustrated. Submitting as is and maybe will take another run on Saturday.

I just can't connect with this car. I am not Mr smooth and over power the turns. Can't teach an Old Dog new tricks I guess.

EDIT: Thrown away many attempts where I was 1:08.15 at the 2nd split but messed up the chicane :banghead: This is a very addictive this combo, never thought an FF car could be so enjoyable to drive 👍

Had a few runs where I beat my best time only to review the replay and see I messed up the last chicane by just a hair. I then clear out the best times and start again. Have a few laps in me tonite, then I have to submit time, will be out of town for a week.

Good to hear from you Christina. I'm sure if you find time for another run you'll find enough time on the track to be near the top.
Thanks Baron. :) I can't live up to those expectations though I'm afraid. I just can't seem to find where to squeeze out more time. :indiff: I still had fun with it though. This will be my submission I think -

A little better through T3 as well and gained 0.021 overall. I doubt I'll have any more time to run but 2 hours is usually my limit anyway. Good luck Gentlemen. Bonkers at the top!

Nice lap Kreezy.

My ghost was catching me up big time in sector 3, came off the corner before the long straight a bit wrong, so theres about 2 tenths out there

No improvement yet but just a quick story about yesturdays run. Before I go on, let me first say that when I do these events, I have my surround sound volume up ridiculously loud. I do this just because I like to hear exactly when the tires break lose and also for the engine sound.

Anyways, I'm into about a 12 lap run in heavy concentration. Tunnel vision and the whole bit, very intensly into it. I was just missing my time by ever so little each time. I come flying around that last corner to the finish line, up about .300 on my time. I'm thinking I got this right. Wrong. I come around that corner a bit too tight and BAM !! I hit the end of that barrier and came to a dead stop. Nearly pissed myself and damn near jumped out of my Playseat. My cat, which was sleeping near the subwoofer, jumped straight up in the air, did some type of weird 360 and b-lined it for the closet, lol. It was loud and I'm not kidding. Seconds later my downstairs neighbors call asking what the hell that ruckus was. I was laughing so hard that I was crying and could hardly get the words, "Everything is fine" out. I was in complete hysteria just seeing the way that damn cat took off out of a dead sleep, lol. It was so loud that with most of the bang coming from the subwoofer, it actually shook the windows, lol. I still start laughing when I think of that damn cat. Needless to say, that was pretty much the end of my session right there. Even with no improvement, that whole thing was worth the price of admission, lol. If you're not laughing, I guess you just had to be here to see it.

Anyways, that was my excitement for yesturday. Just thought I'd share.

Fisrt time i laughed out loud reading a post:lol::lol::lol:

Great story Cargo!!!

Found some seat time and payed off!!

Thanks guys, glad you enjoyed it. Like I said, even with no improvement, that made the whole thing worth while to have a laugh like that at the end.

On a more serious note, before the happenings yesturday, I did figure out a tweek to my setup which allows me to get through the first sector at least .300 faster than what I was doing before. Hopefully I can string it all together with a good improvement when I try again after the Nationwide NASCAR race. Peace everyone and its good to be back.

Eventough it's been a busy past days aswell offtrack or on track... I could not resist the care and could not resist the track...

Man is this combo addicting, it reminds me of having the munchiez when Ma pulled the cookies out of the oven and before you know it you've ate like a hundred cookies  Great balance in the car Kevin :)

T2: 27.093

Can't figure out the first sector :banghead:

I hit that ole TT wall. Can get into the 41's & 26's but my T3 was too good to beat.
Will have to live with what I got...Hope it gets me in the gold. Good luck guys.

P.S. Thanks for the story Cargo_Rat. I truly put myself there :-) Hope the cat's ok. Still LMAO!

Yup, I'm slowing down. Is that a problem?

.15 left in t1,the rest is pretty good.

Thanks Manu, saw you passed me and couldn't just let that happen could i?;)

I hope your done , did a small stint today but failed to improve, I know theres 2 tenths left out there, but realistically Ill probable only improve by a tenth if I do a million more laps, this was a pretty good combo, I must say, really enjoyed it, 👍👍👍 to the admins. Ill try again tomorrow after work, but Im likely done with this.

Nice going Baron. 👍

I hadn't run this one since Wednesday so I had a go today after the F1... I'm only about half a second off the pace now. :dopey: 3 days staying up all night to watch the practice sessions and whatnot has obviously done me the world of good. :P A change is as good as a rest and all that. Anyway, I'm probably stuffed now and too tired to bother trying to chase it again today. Tomorrow is a busy day so not likely I'll be chasing it then either. It was fun when I could do it haha... Good luck all.

Just though I would share some nice photos :)

Anyone know how to get these images to appear, I am uploading from flickr?

There you go. 👍

You need to click the share tab on the photo page. Then click "Grab the HTML/BBcode", choose the size (640x427 is best- doesn't slow pages down too much but gives a good representation), check the "BBcode" box and copy the text in the box.

Then simply paste the copied text into the your reply. Do not paste the text into "" tags. They're included already. 👍

Pretty much hit my wall with this one. Took a loss in T2 but made up for it in the final sector for a better overall time. Submitting with these splits.
