Managed the "perfect" kink, just once, was seriously lucky, and in the replay it looks as if im gunna drive straight into the wall but somehow squeeze through, and now I'm ahead of my ghost of that lap by 2 tenths, but can't get anywhere near it through the kink! Goddammit!

Lost over a tenth in sector 1 (best is now 23.909) but a solid 2nd sector and a near perfect last sector for a 0.06 gain at the line. Annoyingly, I can beat my first sector easily, match the second sector and then lose it all in the last... I have a feeling I'm never going to replicate that given the usual lack of consistency I exhibit. Its an ok lap time but I'm pretty gutted about doing it with such an average 1st sector. I'll keep chasing but I'm getting that hopeless feeling now and the kink has possibly used up all my patience.

Ever since I got the broken in car, I've dropped 8 tenths off my laptime, and there's still about .15 left to find. But yeah, it's been a huge comeback.

Well, I put another 300km's on the car came with in 1/10th of my best lap. I do not think I am going to be able to better it.

It's starting to look like that this combo isn't suitable for a DS3.
Stop complaining, 'cause when i see this...I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I'm falling behind on the leaderboard and I'm unable to beat my ghost.

Bully for you Andrew. If we 8nt allowed 2 use speak like this, then we shouldn't be allowed to use terms like "Bobs" They are in fact properly called "B-spec Drivers" in the game. The game does not come with them, you have to create them. You can immediately create the first one and then as you progress, the game allows you to create more. You can create up to 6 B-spec drivers. You only need one to run up the miles on cars in the B-spec series. But you will need to run many races with your driver to get him to a sufficient level that will allow him to compete in the longer distance B-spec events such as the Extreme Series and Endurance Series.
Hopefully this helps. Having to create a new "GTP" account can be a real depleting drag on your garage count, and having a B-spec driver or two in your GTP account can really help you get your newly purchased cars up to speed quickly. Put one in a longer distance race, go eat lunch, and when you come back, wahlah, your new car is broken in.

Well, after over 2,000 miles, I still can't find improvement. Its the last few turns before the straight to the finish line that is still tripping me up. Everything I gain, I loose coming out of there. There comes a point in every competition that you just have to admit defeat and move on. I have reached that point. I am going to keep going, but at this point it is really just practice trying to get things right and any additional time I pick up will just be a bonus.
On another note, I couldn't be more prouder of my D3 mates. Way to go you guys and great job representing D3. You guys are truely rocking it this week.

Same here Al, ran another 100 laps after last F1 practise, and got really close !! But just could not improve my best time. Not givin'in yet, and the fact I am not able to race the F1 tonight has tripple boosted my confidence to set an even faster time. First I am gonna watch the real life F1 and
