Submitted my times with the run on the leaderboard and the lap after it.
Try as hard as i could, I couldnt get any closer to the magic '41 mark.
I enjoyed this week more and more as it progressed.
Started the week, cursing the understeer, finished with a GRIN!!

Cheers All !!!

Couldnt resist slower fast lap, gained the mighty .057 total. :) 27.087 32.493 40.633 - I knew a 32.4xx was possible, but had never confirmed one.

I'm done with this now, I've spent enough time trying to get two consistent fast laps but I just can't do it. I did it once but it was dirty.:ouch:

26.944
32.804
40.402

I will be submitting with these splits and hoping my slow lap doesn't drop me too far down the leaderboard.

Regardless of your second lap Ash, that's a mighty fast lap 👍

It is, but I've been faster, my best lap is 1'39.9xx. This is what happens when you spend hours trying to run two good laps in a row. While I was trying to get a good overall time, I kept finding a little more time on my fast lap, so I kept trying to push it over the two laps and it didn't go too well, lots and lots of mistakes.:)

That is an awesome time ASH, has you mixing it with the D1 guys even if it was only one lap. Made a quick go tonight before submitting with these. Slower 1st lap by .2 but MUCH faster and consistent 2nd lap then previous splits, and faster average by .15

Oops, that was my previous splits...

27.036
32.899

Good luck to those still banging their heads on this one

Edit: Banged my head once more.

My final (submitted) splits are personally quite disappointing because I can see .1 in T1 and .1 in T3 and that is my best lap of the two... :nervous: Was happy with my T2 split though! :)
As a side note, the best single lap I did this week was 1:39.90x so I'm a good tenth down on that too... :(

T1: 27.076
T2: 32.639
T3: 40.322

(1:40.037)

All the best to anyone still pushing for a late winner! ;)
Great combination this week IMO too! 👍

Xerxes. :)

I will be re-running later, but yesterday I had a quick go and got within 7 thousandths of my overall time (For BOTH laps) and then the very next time, 9 thousandths. Think I must be right near my limit.

Had some runs with this beautiful combo (car not the best but track A++)

My collar bone injury basically prevents me from performing large rotations of the wheel without taking hands off so am unable to be precise with steering inputs that exceed more than 180 degrees. (I have a hook plate, which latches onto my shoulder bone similar to this...http://www.flickr.com/photos/snappydessy/115288095/)

Splits using standard settings

27.085
32.572

 I know what you mean millross. I have three sets of overalls that are within five hundredths of each other, but thousandths really does sound like you eeking the last drop out of it!

After the earlier debate on how close I got to the guardrail (still think it's clean), I managed to go two hundredths quicker on my slow lap and three hundredths quicker on my fast lap, AND managed to give the walls a bit more respect.

Probably submitting with these unless I can pull something out of the bag in the next 20 minutes... EDIT 20 minutes later: Nope...

T1: 27.057
T2: 32.889
T3: 40.611

Adding my three best sectors from good runs suggests that I should be good for a .177 lap, but I haven't come close to tying that together, nevermind stick another lap on top.

Am fairly happy with my consistency over the two laps, and have only had two runs all week that were closer together than my submission.

Good luck Millross, Mr Brinkley, and the rest of the D3 crew

Have really enjoyed this week 👍

Great splits Carlos, good luck to you too. I'm really looking forward to the results from this week. I tried to better my times for about 30 minutes this morning and couldn't get close so I decided to turn it off and get some things around the house done...

good luck to all!

And yes, this event makes me want to go buy a GTI.

Still really nice splits.👍👍

Not great to hear about your injury. I bet you're still faster than me though. I'll give it one more shot tonight, although I don't expect much from it. I bought a new wheel (logitech G27) and I've only run about 3 hours with it. And I haven't run this combo in 2 days (busy weekend).

I think I need another chance this evening, consistency across both laps not quite how I would want it and I'm sure that at least one of Carlos or JBrinkley have nailed a bit more consistency than I have, despite my miniscule fast-lap advantage.

This week has been great, enjoyed it - I too want a Golf GTI, but not the '05 model, I want the latest one. I'd also like a Peugeot RCZ and a Nissan GTR (R35) as well as a new MX5 for the wife, so if somebody could arrange that, that'd be swell, cheers.

Got an hour or so where I can run this later - watch this space for joy, or tears.

:)

This has been the best WRS to date. I can't wait to see some of the replays. lowest sector 1 time was 27.098. How people have hit 1.39's I'll never know, can't wait for the replays, so I can learn a trick or too.. Congrats to all. Especially the div 4 drivers, some of your times where amazing.

HELP! I have submitted my combined times twice and rejected submission result.
I have added my fast lap and slow lap used the time tool and entered the result.

this is what I did.

To: WRSFetchbot
Title: GTP_WRS Week 12 Submission

Time: 4'42.0042 (Example, not actual Time)

anyone see any thing wrong?

Had one more go and managed to be a lot more consistent over the whole two laps.

T1: 27.087
T2: 33.003
T3: 40.533
(1'40.623)

Is it ok to submit my time to fetchbot even though I'm not in the registry yet or should I send it to someone else (one of the admins) ?

Time submitted with my splits on the board, busy week with work so only got a couple of runs in with this combo.

Good luck guys 👍

Fetchbot won't accept it if you are not in the registry, you'll get a message to that effect if you try it. You could try PM'ing Vaxen and asking what to do about it.:)

Hopefully I can get a faster combo in before the bell.. My fast lap on this one was good enough to overcome my slow lap.

T1: 26.942
T2: 32.879
T3: 40.147

(1'39.968)

Submitted with the splits on the board. Having not much spare time left these days I wasn't able to run some decent laps. This will have a consequence on the final result: way down the ranking :ouch:

Couldn't resist trying one last time, even though fetchbot won't accept my submissions. :)

T1: 27.044
T2: 33.108
T3: 40.416

(1'40.568)

Also much better slow lap for quite an improvement in total time, I finally managed to go two laps without messing up in the chicane!
