Also, I'll more than likely be gone when the results are needing verified. When I'm finished on Sunday can I zip up the replay, upload it to a file sharing website then post the link when the replay is needed or do I have to upload it through the forum thing?

This is fine. I'm almost certain we've had others do this a couple times in the past.

Better yet, if you slow down, it might not be needed.

Still haven't caught up, Ron (ONE thousandth behind you :D). Nice splits. But we need to catch this Wins guy from D3.
Maybe that 0.4 I found in T3 & T4 will make a difference.

Not so fast first and second split but perfect left turn down the straight and better finish with good time on the line.:) Just need to join everything together.

Right on my tail... :scared: Nice going Juan Antonio. 👍 I may have a chance for a quick run tomorrow but otherwise, I'll just have to sit and watch you catch me. :nervous: :P

That's the ticket 👍 - this is a horrible track to maintain consistency.

Some fierce battles going on across the board 👍

What is it you're struggling with most Gayle? Any advice or whatever that might help?
Reconsidering you're post. Something I've noticed is the car will only turn in when I use the brakes. Thanks Chris 👍

Was that a question...? :dopey: I didn't do anything... :scared:
OK, it's just me not explaining things right. My statement to you is the car needs some brake to rotate into the turns. That's a little awkward to me right now, left foot is my braking foot, can't put a lot of pressure on that leg right now. :ouch:

Ahh got you. Yeah I understand that all too well Gayle - when my knee was real bad a few weeks back, braking was a big problem. My missus also had spinal surgery about 6 years back so you have our sympathies mate... rest when you can and don't push yourself too hard. 👍

I'm hoping I can beat this one, because there are a couple really close spots in t1 and at the first corner in t2, its clean but not by much. Plus I lost some in the last corner.

Only one close spot on this lap, and cleaned up t4.

Nice job Baron 👍 Good to see you powered up again. :sly:
minimum improvement, but - for now - better than nothing
Gotta look at it that any gain is a plus. Key points on the lap are all about keeping tight and getting early on the power. This thing has great traction so once you get the nose tight, just welly it. That's why I love this thing - it fits the good old mantra of Thrash It Mercilessly. This combo doesn't actually require any finesse to be honest, just lots of boot. :P

Absolutely - it was just a pity that i screwed S3 in that lap ;) But - even if little - for sure that improvement makes me happy. I still have lot to learn, so at least for today i finished with a good feeling.
S1 it's kind of do or die for me. In S2 i must keep myself calm not to push too hard in the first 2 turns, so i got a good line for the left hander before the long straight. S3 it's all about the "mountain-hairpin" - i try to keep it as tight as possible there, as well as not to drop below 120 km/h.
After it a clean line through S4 and that's it. Easy :sly:
I will see. A Division Podium would be nice. And I'm really looking forward to the Wednesday-Race. Should be great fun. It's really an entertaining combo :)

Playing with Chris's tune. Hopefully, I'll be able to catch him over the weekend, but he sure looks tough!

Don't take it as whining, I'm looking for a technique to get the nose around easier. Like you "Trash it" with mucho muscle!

One question, in the first tunel before T1 , is this OK?

Submitted my time. I can't beat my time. I've been as low as a 43.008 coming out of the tunnel but I lose it in T3 every time. Just can't replicate my T3 or beat it.

Hard to say mate. If both the right sides are on the tarmac (there's tarmac on the inside of the white line, before the concrete) then it's good.

Nice job Baron 👍 Good to see you powered up again. :sly:

Thanks, ya its nice to have power again. We had five tornadoes come through the area at about 1am Wednesday. Luckily they were all EF1-2 so not real powerful. Didn't hear of any injuries or deaths, which is lucky because the sirens weren't activated.

Anyway, I'm hoping to get one more run tomorrow. I hope my tune helps some peeps out.

@Gayle. If I understand you correctly, you want your car to turn when you lift off the throttle. If that's right you might want to try more front camber(up to 3.5), softer front springs, or negative front toe.

Thank's Baron, I'll giver a try!! 👍

Sorry, it's not OK, unless you have 2 right wheels on tarmac. Understand how tarmac vs. concrete can be confusing, but you have 4 on concrete, not tarmac or rumble.

Using the pajama tune. :) Too slow at the line and nearly bought it in T1 and T2. Last half must have been magic because I made up the time I was behind my ghost plus a quarter second. Seen 8xx regularly in T1 so off to try to make up that time.

You sure about that sector 3 time there fella? I haven't even done any that fast... If it is right, check to make sure you're running correct specs. No SRF etc.

I did a triple-take myself when I looked at that time, because I was as shocked as you, but that's what the replay says.

That being said, I think something's wrong, because I've been racing today, and I haven't come anywhere near the times I posted Wednesday evening. Now I've honestly never turned on SRF in my life, but I'm with you Chris, it doesn't seem logical. I'm simply not that good of a driver (yet :))

I've looked in the replay theater and I can't seem to find any way to verify for certain what settings I had on during that lap.

In any case, in the interests of fairness, and especially since I'm the FNG and I don't want to get off on the wrong foot with what seems to be a really cool community of drivers, I am going to assume the error was mine somehow, and I will rescind those times.

Just for clarity since I don't completely know the logistics, if I post new times that are slower, will the system still replace them since they are the newest, or do I need to do something to remove the bad times first?

Let me know, and please accept my sincerest apologies and embarrassment if I screwed up. As I said, the last thing I want to be doing is running outside the rules.

Jeff

New splits always replace the old. It's encouraged to keep the splits up-to-date
with your fastest legal lap, even if you drop down on the LB.

Thank you for verifying that the lap may be suspect. If you'd like us to check it, send me a PM. 👍
