I would say check your tires? Mine keeps resetting my tires every time I come out to the race menu, which is odd in itself.

Can't post the splits from the lap as I went just the slightest bit off with a 3rd wheel in turn 1. :ouch: Guess I'll try again tomorrow.

In case anyone is interested, here's my setup. Makes the car very agile through the high speed sections.

Sorry, it's not OK, unless you have 2 right wheels on tarmac. Understand how tarmac vs. concrete can be confusing, but you have 4 on concrete, not tarmac or rumble.

  • Red and White Rumble Strips and Tarmac are Track Surface.

Ok, that's fine thanks. Will try again if time till the end but too much job here....:ouch:

Good luck everybody. 👍

Getting to this late - been really busy lately and haven't run in the wrs for a while, but this combo looks fun.
Should get some time to have a run tonight and maybe Monday night too.

T1 16.398
T2 26.911
T3 22.878

Still down a few hp's I think, so hopefully a bit left.

Tried Baron's tune and that slanky rear end gifted me a couple .1's in T1, but I beat my previously posted splits by .2 with this banker:

16.223
26.875
22.799

Baron, your 2nd gear is a monster. I use it for the majority of the corners. Slows and turns you in, but then powers you out as well. 👍
Barely touching the brakes around here, only in the obvious hard braking zones.

Welcome back, Lou! 👍

I have already submited my final time. I did some runs this morning but no more gas for this event, not so much fun as the other days for me.
Anyway, i love my car and i think it's perfect for a race. I like comfort, this allow me to go reasonably fast because i'm not and i never be a top driver.
All this people are amazing fast, driving sharps cars on the edge.
Congrats to everybody. It was very fun, let's wait what come next.

Welcome back, Lou! 👍

Thanks mate, I actually had dust gathering on my ds3 lol. Nice first sector times.

Tried with full downforce and although lost some it t1, made a tenth at the line.

T1 16.540
T2 26.682
T3 22.710

Oh man - waking up, check the board, new guys, lot of improvements... Seems like MacGyver really needs to find a solution now ;)

Yeah, will see what i can do with a paper-clip. Probably some Wing-Adjustments. For now - i head back for Phoenix Foundation to make some Analysis :)

Just had my first attempt at this, 5 laps in, 0.5 off in every sector. Just can't seem to get a good rhythm going this morning.

Might give it another shot later on, we'll see

Nice going Lucas, Lou and Ron, was getting a bit too comfortable at the top now I'm a bit :nervous: I'll try run some more laps but it's hard to get a rhythm and keep it to the end here.

Nice lapping this week guys! 👍 some great competition in d1 and d2, shame I couldn't join in :(

I'm ready to make my comeback in the next event, I am nearly uninjured at last! :D

I'm totally pissed. Somehow i forgot to drive Sector 2 - so it destroys in general every lap, even the other sectors are fine though.... pretty disappointed :(

I ran about 4 laps this am with a best overall, but forgot to post. :ouch: I can't as of yet bend down to get at the USB on the PS3, so can't submit my time. Sorry Admins. I won't post after this until I can get to the USB.

First go at it, trying to shake the rust off after an 11 day layoff. I need to figure the line out in sector 1, so I am not lifting so much.

You can definitely floor it all the way to the tunnel. And through the final turn complex as well.

Thanks, much better sector 1. This is a fun car to drive around this track. Normally it takes me hours to get up to speed, but this car on this track, seems fairly easy to figure out the best way around. I think, I can probably find a few more tenths.

An impressive 0.006 improvement at the line :) still looking for .150 in 1 and a tenth in 3 and 4

Updated times... and fixing what must have been an error (sorry Chris) Ironically T3 time is now nothing to write home about :)

16.819
27.228
23.354

I know I'm leaving time on the track, but as others have said it's very hard to get a consistent lap here. I'm sure I'm not taking the best lines either

Got a lap I'm pretty happy with, but might give it another shot tomorrow as I am a bit too close to dirty in a few places.

I honestly don't know how you guys are doing that. I have to lift off otherwise I go flying like an unguided missle. :banghead::ouch::mad::boggled:

My first serious try at this, was too busy with the World Cup preparations during the week.

16.753
27.023
23.045

I've been trying most of the tunes posted in the thread and still can't decide which one I prefer... This was done with praiano's, I believe.

I find it hard to not lift off during the first part either, I very rarely pull that off (was not able to do it for current splits).

Speaking of tunes, let me say this. Week in and week out, I tune my own cars without much testing or experimenting with other's tunes. This week, I have experimented with all the tunes on here without success. I keep having to go back to mine. Now, they are obviously all good tunes as other people are having success with them, but why not me. Is my driving style that odd that only the tunes I come up with are the only ones that work for me or I wonder if I just have some bad habits that I am masking with my tunes?? Does that sound possible??? I am just damn confused right now as to what my 🤬 problem is. Can I move in with someone and have you tutor me for about 6 months??:lol::lol:

Submitted my time. Left about.25 on track.

@Mitch. It doesn't mean you have bad habits if other tunes don't work for you, every person has their own style of driving. I think I've only used one tune from Chris without changing anything. There's always going to be differences in how people approach a track or car.

Around 0.1s at the line.

16.681
27.188

With Chris's tune this time.
