Need to find some more time to go after this podium.... I think it's possible for me to take out 0.100 in T3 and 0.050 till finish line.
Hard will be do this in the full lap one after the other.. Just more time for a magic lap.:) Perhaps this night after the job with some coffe.👍

puh, i'm pretty much struggling with this one. need to find lot of time in S2. concerning the 2 turns before the tunnel - you guys shift down to 2nd or push through it in 3rd?

It depend of your ratios of course but from mid - out corner , if you have a gear under the one you're using that can still be pushed a bit, it good to use it. IIt 'll give you an extra grip and more eagerness leading to better position for the left turn before the second tunel.
There you have to turn blind just before the entry to make the mid corner as close as possible from the apex wall. There is a little bump that will help you to accel earlier for the out to the long third tunel.
I hope this will help you.

Are you talking about the right hander after T1 split shows up and the long corner before the tunnel. If so Im doing 2nd for the first one and 3rd for the second one

Thanks :)
I meant the turns after the right hander. So in general the turns before small Tunnel1 and Tunnel2. In each of them i shift down to the 2nd and then pretty fast shift up to 3rd again. It seems to work and slowly i'm gettin better. Need to improve much... Ah - and I'm using your gearbox praiano...

Damn, and I thought I had a little secret. Thanks Praiano, now the whole world will know about my little "speed bump". Seriously though, you are right, if you can hit that just right, there is a lot of time to be gained there. 👍 Good luck on your push to the podium, hope you get it.

Lol there is also a little bump that will help you slam into the wall in that tunnel in the long straight. I hit it a few times :)

finished for today (maybe) - after my mum calling on my fastest lap (which destroyed S4) and an absolutely annoying fly on my tv-screen, i finally managed smth today for my first appearance on the leaderboard :)

nice evening to everybody, tommi

This is great fun, getting into 16.xxx (1st sector) was a relief and my time isn't looking too shabby. And I know it's clean.

Never looking at that Nurb lap again. :scared:

Haha, I've had my phone ring my door bell ring and power cuts during my fastest lap, it's quite annoying

I couldn't steward the World Cup (little one woke up) so I ran a few laps here...

Starting to get the hang of the weight transfer on this car. Sure is nice to throw around! Vagabond's tune!

Slight improvement... if I can just figure out how to shave a few tenths off my sector 1 time consistently (and bottle up T3) I'll be happy :)

As Chris has said, that's a very fast sector 3....faster than everyone else. Whats the secret you have found there?

His secret is... He luvs 2 drive!!!! Got any new splits for us Mitch? I hit a 270 in T1 with a mid 43.15x out of the tunnel then completely forgot how to do the lefty in T3 lol I'm off tomorrow and Sunday, with no plans. Better hop to it! Don't let a truck driver beat you the first time with using a DS3 ;)

Also, I'll more than likely be gone when the results are needing verified. When I'm finished on Sunday can I zip up the replay, upload it to a file sharing website then post the link when the replay is needed or do I have to upload it through the forum thing?

No new splits, haven't even touched it yet today. Will give it a go again in a few hours. Trying to get rid of a massive headache right now.

As for your replay, better ask one of the staff how best to do it, I'm really not sure.

Not proud of the times, but I'll post just to be participating this week.

Some fierce battles going on across the board 👍

What is it you're struggling with most Gayle? Any advice or whatever that might help?

A small step for me too:

16.071
26.513
22.647

Its got a little crazy... Horrible consistency, particularly in sector 3 and the hairpin just after the T3 split keeps catching me out on good laps. I think I'm pretty happy with this lap overall though which is just as well since this will probably be my last session this week; we're away next week and alot to sort out over the weekend.

Great combo though - absolutely loved it. 👍 Good luck guys.

Great splits Chris. 👍 I still can't believe that you're getting beat in sector 3 by luv2drive. Not saying that he's not legit, but just have never seen this happen before by such a lower division driver than yourself. I am most interested in seeing/hearing what his secret is through there. What do you think?

@Gayle: You're doing fine, especially after what you've been through. 👍 You should be proud that you're just able to participate. I'm sure you'll be back in true form in no time. Slow and steady my friend. 👍

Wow. Very impressive splits! Have you made any adjustments to your tune? I tried it again today and still am having a lot of troubles getting it to turn in for the first part of T1. Probably my driving style.

Mitch, my best T3 came from hugging the inside mountain as much as possible without sliding and then a little slide just over the crest to the righty. I'm probably doing it wrong, but its less than 1 tenth off Chris' time.

Thanks guys 👍 A few adjustments to the tune but I don't think anyone will like them much. LSD 5/40/5, Toe 0.00/-0.50 - its fast but 'squirrely' and you have to be uber-precise with it, particularly in sector 1.

Don't want to comment on luv2drive's sector 3 until we've heard from him after he checks his settings. If its legit, its mental. :sly:

Try softer springs for this track. I mean, you can't really argue with his hard springs with his (Chris's) splits, but I experimented with hard springs and it just didn't feel comfortable to me. No matter how hard I tried, I was off by .250 or so with the harder springs. But as you said, probably just differences in driving styles because he (Chris) is obviously not having a problem with harder springs.

I'm recovering from lumbar surgery of 2 crushed disc's and still dealing with some pain. I'm just being careful not strain it!! Thank you!👍

That's exactly how I've been doing it also. I think I may be sliding a bit much at the crest tho. I think that may be a problem area for me as I'm just not consistant through there. I have nailed it a few times, but just not consistently. Like I said before, I just need to string all my killer sectors together then I'd be fine. Probably won't give it a go tonight as I'm still battling this headache. Will give it a good go tomorrow tho. 👍

Thanks for the support and kind words guy's! It's just baby steps in the healing process. I'm just not as tough as Mitch. :) 👍

Ouch. Sorry to hear that. Grab a DS3 and join in on the fun! It's not the same experience with a wheel, but you might be able to not strain yourself but still have a more enjoyable experience

It's different on the ds3. I can send it into a skid then just go lock counter steer in a fraction of a second to bring it out where I need it. I can't duplicate it now though. I always lose time to my ghost at the first turn in T3.
I'll be sleeping all day tomorrow since I'm not gonna get in until around 6 am, when I wake up you better have some splits posted!! LoL good luck tomorrow. Hope you beat your time and mine. :)
