No reason to feel awkward Holty, that's an impressive amount of improvement in a relatively short time frame. Quite an endorsement for the weekly races.

Six tt's isn't a very long time to wait for a promotion and I think everyone can make do until then.

Another late start for me, had a busy week...

27.818
26.652
22.432

giving up on this one now, was about to post a new time, but one last check on the replay and I noticed I just ran a little too wide on 1 corner and its dirty. And stupidly I overwrote my previous lap's replay, and I'm really lacking the enthusiasm for this combo to try again.

Love the track, but not so keen on the car. I'm a little disappointed really, was looking forward to giving this car a good thrash, but its so easy to drive I got bored very quickly.

I just found it so monotonous doing laps around here, for me the car didn't have that sting in the tail if you mess things up to keep you on the edge, its so stable under braking and when getting back on the power. Even through the screw I found that it was just planted.

Anyway, good luck all, some very quick times all through the board, its very close this week

New splits.

27.879
26.399
22.025

Wow Mitch these are Division 2 splits, honestly with you here in the division there is no way we are able to win, no matter how much effort we put in...
You should be in div 2.... wow this is so demotivating..... NOT :)

I did a lot of laps faster than my ghost in T1 and T2, almost a space of 1 car in front of it. I know any braking point and driving & throttle input to be at my best level all the track long....
But i can't repeat till now the fast left after the bridge before the cork screw. My ghost always take me again at this point. This is the most difficult turn of the circuit and the main point to gain time. The timing is very sharp there, still trying and trying. If i do everything ok i must shave 0.100 or more.

I love the track , really and this stock LSD with the huge torque are very tricky to make them work together.

Very fun event.:)

Went to the track yesterday. I only brought my phone for pictures, as I find that I enjoy the event more overall if I don't spend all my time trying to take pictures. :)

Look at what I found in the paddock!

But it turned out to be a 4 speed, upgrade from what we are running. ;)

We also saw Adam Carolla filming something with Jay Leno.

And this was Adam on the track in his 240SX racecar.

Was a fun day, lots of vettes, we saw many C2 race cars running while we were watching at the corkscrew.

Have fun finding those last few tenths in this beauty.

So, it's been a long time since I've attempted a WRS time trial! The reason I stopped was for my exams, and you'll all be glad to hear that I achieved the required results to get into my first choice university! :D

Some of you may also have heard that I've got through to the European finals of GT Academy, and honestly guys, I wouldn't have done it without practising here week in week out! :)

I thought I would have a go at this event as I was bored today, it's been a very busy week up until now!

First splits:

27.661
26.086
21.623

Improvement:

27.763
25.958
21.605

Cheers mate! We've got a strong team for the UK this year, so hopefully one of us can win the European competition! 👍

Yeah, I was actually surprised how fast I found the pace! :D

Shouldn't you be mentally preparing for the finals :sly: nice first splits 👍

Wow Bandit. Passed me on the leaderboard immediately. Nice job. Need to put my final run in soon.

I'll submit with those splits, no time to drive tomorrow and tonight few beers don't let me drive ok....:dopey: . I did this lap this morning, not very good till T3 but i'm very confident on the very strong finish with my best time on the line.
Let's see if i can make my first podium with this....:)

27.591
26.034
21.836

Another 0.2s at the line, but I've seen T1's at least 0.2s faster...

28.052
26.606
21.881

Still losing time in T1, but very happy with the rest of the lap for a 0.4 improvement at the line
27.866
26.277
21.755

I am getting a chance to sit behind the wheel tonight. Here are my new splits.

Al

28.104
26.548
22.449

Nice one, Jon!

I've been giving it one-last-blast off and on for the last couple hours. Spent at least 45min being 1-2sec slower than my posted splits, dumbfounded. :dunce:

Then I forced myself to go figure out fuel/tire strategy for the upcoming Wed online race. 14 laps back-to-back no restarts.
Came back to the TT and immediately matched my fast lap to the THOUSANDTH.
Later beat it by .05 but the lap was too hard to verify clean.

I think the Corvette gods are telling me I'm done.

Nice one Lucas. Have lost patience with T1. I'm sure if I kept at it I'd have found a tenth, but then probably made a mess of it somewhere else. Only done 164 miles this week but still approaching the law of diminishing returns!

Submitting with what I have now and going off to grind out an Opel Speedster

Red lapped times that were 2 tenths quicker than my best. :banghead: Gonna keep going.

Edit:

27.649
26.018
21.794

I'm on a roll now. 25.9xx is possible in sector 2 and 21.59x is possible in sector 3. Still gonna keep on going.

Submitting with these splits:

27.604
26.024
21.697

Good luck everyone!

Would of loved to do this week but have just been too busy to get round to doing it. Well played doodle for representing the DS3 though!

Final run, outrageous seat time trying to keep up with Division.
Submitting with these splits.
Next TT looks great, but unable to do next week. Good luck!

.02 quicker in T4.

EDIT: Ouch... had a 3rd split time of 1:15.421, even after losing a tenth in T2, only to have a very slow T4. Must... keep... pushing...
