No, must be completely stock apart from paint and wheels where you can go crazy and paint it any colour you want (have) and put any available wheels on it.

Maybe chassis reinforcement isn't the right word.
It's in the same menu as the oil change, motor overhaul,and the Racing Modification.
I didn't mean mounting any swing bars like in the tuning section.

How 'bout you post your real-life spits, Kev? So we can see how this 'Vette compares to the E30, MR2, or modern Challenger (your choice). Post it in a quote tag, of course.

The lap I posted in the vid is fastest I have ever run on the track. Challenger had the aforementioned brake issues, so was maybe 1:55 ish. That was rolling out way early into the brake zones, lost loads of time.

I don't have splits readily available, but they would not be too competitive with my splits on this combo.

Will try to estimate some.

Don't worry guys. I lost 2 tenths in the last sector! I can't imagine getting a sector 1 time like that again! Also, at the beginning of the 3rd sector, it was very close, but I just barely kept it on the track! I'm 10000000000% sure it's legal, I quadruple checked it.

Had a decent run to the line with this one. Either I'm a genius and figured out something in the last sector or I'm just a dumbass and have been doing it wrong all this time. Probably the latter so I will just keep my mouth shut about my technique as to not look like a fool later on.

It's the splits and the run to the line that counts!! I'll be lucky if I meet my handicap this week. I got a pretty good run to the line, but it's not gonna set any records. I won't be able to run again until Sunday and Monday I get a chance for a Hail Mary this week! Woohoo!!

Yea Brandon, you've got some killer splits going there. 👍 Like I said, I've pretty much got things figured out now, I'm just stuggling with consistency. This may be your week if I'm not able to get it together. Your second split is killer btw, great job on that.

My new splits, not my best third sector, left at least 0.2xx there and in the last corner I also made a small mistake, costing me about the same....happy with this but improvement should still be possible.

Thanks. I know how you feel about consistency. It doesn't exist lol. On T2 all I'm doing is sliding. The 1st right hander I barely touch the brakes then slide into the apex and floor it. The left hander, I'm braking around the 3 sign and letting off to slide in just slightly before the 1 sign. To much of the gt academy coming out of me I suppose lol I've got my braking points down pat, I just need to work on apex speed and not spinning. I swear every lap there's a huge burnout mark all the way around the hairpin. The more I run the lap in my head, the more I can't wait to get a chance to have a other go at it!! In my head I'm running around it like Rossi, in real life I'm running around it like Wins see you Sunday!

A good thing to do for the T2 1st right is to shift in 3rd gear early during the out. The next left you must do the entry (braking zone) at the limit of the grass (or dirty part), for the out corner try to power slide since apex to out ,full gas but controled with the smooth direction input .
For the next fast left after the bridge, i prefer to pass it in 3rd gear, faster for me.
For the corck screw brake at the second tires black mark, go to the apex even if it seems early, the little last depression will put you at the right place. After this, smooth change of direction down the right, at the "landing" , try to stay straight or even a little counter steer, to not loose the traction for T2. Even if you go out on the left, you'll have time to correct for the next turn.

@Brandon: I know what you mean about the black marks. I'm smokin' them around almost every corner, lucky to have enough rubber left to continue on after the first lap. Honestly though, at least for me, the smoke show is the way to go. I've tried being easy on the throttle coming out of the turns and not spinning the tires, but my laps just aren't as fast. I've also been shifting at around 5100 RPM going into 2nd gear, a little higher for 3rd. See ya Sunday Brandon, be safe on those roads. 👍

Yes, same here. It doesn't actually disappear, its just laying down on the ground as if you knocked it over. I don't even come close to it and it still falls down. I still use it as a brake marker, just have to look for it laying down. (Kinda like the 2nd gunman on the grassy knoll. Thank you, I'll be here all week. ) Sorry, just amusing myself I guess.

Seeing 7s in T1 about half the time now but I can't hold it through turn 4. Apparently I went through there quite well last time and I can't see it anymore.
