EDIT: Managed splits totalling 1:04.840, only to mess up at the bus stop.
Also, why on earth did PD think it was a good idea not to include brake markers on the run up to the bus-stop?
Why do all the settings that can be adjusted have the phrase "But leave settings at stock. Admin verifiable.", but for aero modifications it only has:
Aero Modifications: Stock 20 front / 45 rear is allowed.
Obviously from the start, any stock setting would be allowed so this phrase is, in itself redundant. However by using this phrase on some settings and leaving it off of other settings would lead me to believe that it is ok to adjust settings that do not indicate they must be left at stock settings.
By not having the the phrase "But leave settings at stock. Admin verifiable.", does that mean I can crank it up to 35 front / 60 rear?
Also, I see that "in event" tunning settings are optional. What if I set my brake bias in the garrage tunning section and not while actually in the event? Would this violate the rules as I wouldn't be tunning them in the event? Is this verifiable through the replay?
Just clarifying here folks.
Beats me. I can use the flashing gear number as a guide to braking point, but as for the turning point I'm completely lost.

We used to have a lot of pad users participate, so I would keep them in mind when testing.I don't know what the other ds3 users think, but these one is very difficult to handle on stock settings, specially throttle with no lsd tuning.

That number has dwindled over time, so I don't think about them as much. It's more about how the combo will be for lower division drivers in general. I try to take that into account with my initial impressions of car control.
This car does require some finesse at the top of the RPM's in first gear coming out of corners. Not sure if you are using auto trans or not, but if you are shifting yourself, a short shift to second gear is probably going to gain you some consistency, even if you give back a little on your maximum potential. I would still use first to get in, just grab second quickly as you are rolling on the throttle.
GriecoJust sent a FR to GTP_3D3Racing so that I can use the shared car.
Thanks!
GravitronOK, but I won't be able to accept it for another 7hrs or so. I was hoping to get the car shared on GTP_3D3_C as well, which I think you're already on, but haven't gotten around to it. Because the main account (GTP_3D3Racing) is so close to the 100 friend limit, we can add you for this week, but may have to drop you when this event is over, to make room for the people who are actively racing with us online.
GravitronThanks Brandon. 👍 That's nice of you.
Also, nice to know I won't be sweating you this week.
Yeah, I pretty much always use ABS 10 automatically... I'm not even sure what difference it makes any more.Chris, are you using ABS 10, as you often do, with that 3/1 BB? Thanks for the video, by the way.
GTP_CargoRattWell, after a few days of rest, back at it with this one. Daytona Road is not one of my better tracks and the car I have driven maybe once, so should be a good learning experience, this one. Still not feeling the best, but better than before anyways. So, with all my excuses set forth and out of the way, time to climb in, buckle up, and get going down that road......Daytona Road that is, high banks and tricky turns!! (A bad reference to the Beverly Hillbilly's song. )
Go get em Mitch
