One last thing: does the full tyre have to be in contact to be considered clean? OR can it only be half say?

You only need the tiniest sliver on track to be legal. I think if we needed the whole tire on we'd have a lot of frustrated folks around here.

Was pretty sure it was like that but last time I raced a track where it's easy to go off like this was week 69 (also Daytona) way back if the fog of time.

I did not know that there were any "special" set of rules for posting here in this sub-forum. No one told me that we here were held to a higher posting standard than the rest of the GTPlanet forums. If there is a separate set of rules for posting here, please show me and I'll abide by them. Still don't understand though why you felt the need to "pile on" after I apologized and had dropped the subject. Now here we are 4 posts later still carrying on about it when I was perfectly fine with leaving it good at post #207.

Now I know why Praiano felt the way he did with his discussions with you. You do make it sound like this is a dictatorship. At any rate, we have to coexist here with each other regardless of what we think about one another and their views/opinions so that is what I'll do....just coexist. Your snap-judgements and instant over-reactions are like those of a petulant and paranoid teenager, always wronged and mis-understood. You can't take a joke, you can't take criticism, you won't stand corrected, you always need to have the last word.... I have to be honest too, Mitch; I'm tired of seeing your complaining and pointless conflicts. Either take time to re-adjust your attitudes in your time in the WRS community or just shut the hell up.

First, don't tell me to shut the hell up. That is just plain rude. Second, there is no need for you too to keep piling on. I had left our discussion as good and even apologized to you and now you come back with this. I guess its alright for you to talk to me in this manner, but when I do it, its a whole different story. I guess it just depends on who you are around here. I guess my apology wasn't good enough for you either.

Thanks! I drive for Wal-Mart and only go In a 250 mile radius of the distribution center. I'm usually home every night, but get stuck in the truck from time to time!

After trying for a long time yesterday and not improving, I got this on my second lap today. Not a very big improvement, but better. Funny thing is, my ghost passed me at the entrance of the bus stop, but I passed him back at the exit. Showed him who's boss!

These splits are around 0.35s slower than my previous ones, but this lap is better by 0.1s. Made most of it up in the bus stop, but I was still behind my ghost at the start of T5... If only I could be a tiny bit more consistent...

Had a lap that might have gotten close, Brandon, but alas...bus stop grass. I think I need to write a song called Bus Stop Grass. It might devolve into not being about DRC at all, now that I look at it.

I'm the same now, I just can't seem to get S1 consistently in the 27s like I was before, now I'm mostly at 28.0/.1.

And when I eventually do get a 27.8/7 S1 I mess up later in the lap.

I'm about to have one more go lol I'm terrible. I've already beat my goal this week but leaving some time out there is killing me!

Went for broke on the bus stop and blew a 1'04.887 at t3

I reckon everyone will be in the same boat with this combo... I'm also down 3 tenths on my best to T3. I've submitted anyway and at this point have no intention of torturing myself to squeeze any more out when the bus-stop writes off so many good T3 splits. Good luck anyway guys.

i'm not so sure, not very confident with my lap, but I'm having more fun right now just holding flat on the throttle and letting the FFB try and do a lap

Had a mediocre S1, a horrendous S2 (went too deep into both turns and got sideways) which hampered S3. Then I thought oh I'm .3 down and set my sights on my next lap, banzai'd it through the bus-stop to maximise entry speed to the next lap and came over the line .022 faster than my previous best....


EDIT: Checked and double checked and it's completely clean, I just hope I don't have to post a replay to avoid inflicting watching that S2 on someone.

Think I'm stuck with this, even with some fast splits I couldn't beat that time. Still, slow splits and a fast bus-stop served me well in week 69.

Given up and submitted with that. I can't see me replicating that bus-stop even though I know there's .4 left in the splits.

C) Take too much grass and lose it, spinning wildly out of control across the grass before piling into the wall in a massive fireball.


That's why my current bus-stop is so fast, because my splits weren't great and I was already concentrating on the next lap, so there was no pressure.

I can certainly see what you mean. Just now, I managed a 3rd split time of 1:04.667, only to go too slowly in the bus stop.
