I honestly have no clue how you guys are going so fast. Looking forward to seeing some replays ;) Maybe it's because I use a controller instead of a wheel...

This will be my final splits. Somehow a good split 1 ruins my split 2 and the other way around. In the end all that matters is the total time ;) I hope I have achieved a decent div 3 time in this round...

0:23.229
0:29.173

New splits:

Sector 1: 22.593
Sector 2: 28.593

Got a low .5 second split and middle .5 first split before, but these splits are pretty close to my limit!

Awesome splits spud, hope you get put in a division soon. Probably D1 gold with the people from a different planet :sly: Unreal for a pad user 👍

New splits

T1 22.701
T2 28.630

Not happy that I haven't been able to get the overall time I can see, and can't see me getting it before the deadline. Every time I am ahead of my ghost I buckle under the pressure and just watch as it goes by. I am sure he smiles on the way past through his visor :grumpy:

@ Zambuca

Post above yours check sig, he uses controller

This is the best I can do this week.. If I had more time, maybe I could find another few tenths..

T1: 23.247
T2: 29.725

Poolhaas and gravitron - you guys are killing it this week!

I admit I got a little carried away with the leaderboard jojo thing. :D

T1: 23.311
T2: 29.559

I got to try my dads modified Holland setup and WOW, I finally beat my ghost. I thought I coud win the D4 this week and then I got moved up to D3. I also found out that I had to break in the car and well I thought I would see how sticky the car was at Daytona

This track sure has some weard berms :)

T1: 23.314
T2: 29.333

Thanks for the shout guys, and the humor. I too got carried away with the jojo.

I'm done with the Civic now though, let the times fall where they will.

The Challenger/Laguna combo is calling!

I think I've reached my limit. Did my best T2 and T3 although T1 was a couple of tenths off my best. Thanks to all who shared tunes this week.

T1: 23.082
T2: 29.095

My last run................

Hang in there, Speedy, and you most likely will. I may give it one more shot after having a "dirty" this afternoon but it doesn't look good!

Gravitron and Poolhaas looking good right now! 👍

Same with my submitted time, it was some .220 better than my previous best:tup: What setup did you use for your submitted effort?

After learning that you had not only reported some great splits 👍 but also revealed your car setup, I jumped ship from the modified Plato/Vagabond/EDK settings and set sail on yours. It was almost immediately that I started to see results. It took me around half an hour to post my quickest lap:) Might not be quick as yours Dan, but for my talent/ability, I'm very pleased to have achieved the time I have submitted..

Time submitted with splits on the board. Good Luck everyone 👍

Week 16 is calling :)

All you guys are awesome......I watch ya'll every day trying to gleen some much needed talent from you guys. This is freaking fun dude. This makes GT5 and the DFGT wheel worth buying in itself.👍

The double right I maintained a speed no less than 142.5km/h, came within a couple of mm from catching the grass on the left as I moderated the throttle at about 80 percent ish throughout, couple of fluctuations as I tried to spot the right kink, took this right left kink at min 144km/h, by far best pass I had made through there, and for the left, I stay in 3rd, braking down to about 100km/h, then gliding mid apex down to 94kph/93, spot the apex and accelerate out trying to avoid wheel spin at all cost by being careful with steering inputs, my gear 3 was tuned pretty good because I didn't have to worry too much about wheel spin at this corner and the last corner. I would place an 85 percent importance on the double right component in terms of achieving a good run through T2, the left hander is almost a breather corner as not too much can go wrong unless you fluff the exit.

I had 141km/hr at the double right and something like 87km/hr at the lefty, even with my old gears I did 195km/hr at the left kink in T1 but obviously my T1 isn't the problem. About to have a go with your gears now.

WHOA!!!
What a difference a small adjustment makes!
I managed to make up some time in T1, not alot, and it put me up 20 spots on the ladder!
I was chasing Dan all week, then all of a sudden KABOOM - breakthrough!

Submitted.

Cheers All !!!

22.837
28.583

Just screwing every good T1 I get up. 22.6xx's are pretty common, and 22.8xx was the slowest I would not restart on. Anything slower and I would have thrown this lap away.

New splits. Lots of smoke and some close calls, but not too close.

T1: 22.939
T2: 29.150

22.837
28.583

I've been throwing out most of my 22.8xx's today, but that is a spectacular sector time!! 👍

I'm somewhat disgusted that after 2500 miles of .6xx in both t1 and sector times my overall improvement is still just a tenth of a second. :irked:

Maybe tomorrow, but for now I'm exhausted. I drove over 900 miles today, plus some on-line, so I don't think I'm going to hit my goal of 1100 miles on this combo. :grumpy:

I've learned a lot about tuning, though. Basically, I suck at it, and even if it is a good tune, I'm not the one to max it out!!! :ill:

I'll post my new splits after I verify the lap is clean, but it's only a few hundredths at t2. :yuck:

My ability to choke under pressure wasted an impressive 51.2xx!!! :banghead:

Racing On! 🤬

My first session with this one, seeing 22.7's T1's pretty regularly but have yet to see a 22.6, T2 was a little off on this lap but finished the lap with one of my better final sectors. Might have time for one more run tomorrow before submission time, if not I'll be submitting with these.

T1: 22.702
T2: 28.735

I lied...decided to give it one more spin before calling it a night. :sly:

T1: 22.664
T2: 28.688

Tried running some of this online with Chuk earlier, but the physics online are different than in GT Mode Fee Run. Don't believe me? Try it yourself :P

Anyhow, managed a small improvement in splits and laptime. Here it is -

22.867
28.920

Had enough of this little buzz box! Submitting with the splits on the board after 873km (543miles) of total running.

Off to Laguna where I may not be any more competitive, but I think I'll have more fun

Not enough time this week to get the lap I wanted, still plenty time left out on track.

Previous splits:

22.814
28.982

New splits:

22.814
29.268

Identical T1, much slower to T2, but I finished very strong and managed to improve by a few hundredths on the lap. One close call on uphill to T2, but looks like there is plenty of tire on the tarmac.

I was right on the verge of quitting when I hit this lap. It's 2 tenths faster at T2 but only 0.09sec faster at the line, it turned out my last lap had a basically perfect last corner, but I didn't think I'd improve at all!
T1- 22.557
T2- 28.469

Submitted.

Edit: Oh and btw, I tried Dan's gearing and then realised that despite being wildly different the shift points for 3rd and 4th were exactly the same so I reverted back to my own. I also used 2nd gear at the last turn. It was thanks to his driving tips and speed references that I was able to improve at all. When I started this lap, I started a few km/hr down, and for some reason it literally CLICKED before turn 1 even, it was the strangest sensation that I think had something to do with lifting the pressure off due to starting the lap on the back foot. I had been up at T2 so many times before but could never get T3 down pat, and this time T3 was "good enough".

Submiting with the following splits:

T1: 22.846
T2: 28.967

Good luck everyone and see you in Monterey, California

After dropping from 3rd to 14th and hating the car (a lot), I was in about to just start week 16 and drop this combo but I dont think its very sportsmanship like to post splits then not bother submitting so I found it within myself to have at least one more crack.

Improved in T1 the most, I can see how its possible to go another tenth or so faster in T1 - T2 but its simply not going to happen without a lot of kilometers, which wont happen unless I like the car

So with 430km (270miles) up on the clock in my Blue :censored:box I managed the following.

22.617
28.732

How some of you manage to drive this combo for 1500+ Miles (2400km+) is just beyond me!!
