That makes your fastest second sector faster than the fastest guy here. :odd:

(Note to self - over-use of "fast" and its derivations)
I'm probably wrong then, I will check the times after my remote race ends.

Wait, I'm confused now. T2 was .8 slower than the fastest T2 time that I have run. Did I word it wrong before?

Edit: I think you misread and thought I said my T2 time was .8 faster than my posted T2 time, which would be faster than the fastest. Man we have written fast way too much, but I like writing fast better than slow.👍

I'm not quite sure what I thought you said... :boggled: :dopey: Hehe, great fun for mashing your head this WRS stuff...

Better overall lap for me with a much better T1 but slower T2 and T3 again. Can't seem to carry the pace through a whole lap... that's where being a robot or an alien comes in handy... the art of repetition. :)

Anyhoo:

T1: 15.622
T2: 25.130
T3: 21.148

Baby steps... :dopey:

New Splits

T1: 16.384
T2: 26.414
T3: 21.611

Still using my DS3. Won't be able to use my DFGT till Sunday when I get back home. We'll see if I can beat my time then.

I haven't had the chance to give this a good run, but i'll be looking for some time over the weekend.

Okay, this is not good!

Just went a few more laps....................

T1: 17.273
T2: 26.991
T3: 22.395

Good thing the 4th sector is improving....but the others are like a yo-yo.

New splits:
T1: 15.554
T2: 25.072
T3: 20.829

Saw a .407 T1 and a .021X T3, but can't seem to combine split times. I' having a little bit of trouble with 2nd sector too, can't seem to get under 25.

I've finally found sonething that won't fall over whilst using a dfgt! Time to get to grips with this black round thing....

Still using the DS3 for now, am currently about 2-3 seconds slower with the DFGT!

But.... Practice makes perfect!!

A saved replay, rather than a saved ghost replay, is not a valid form of verification for the week anyhow. So if that's all you have, you need to make a new run.

That's your final word.

Fail :grumpy:

Indeed 👍 I was useless with a wheel when I first bought one and was actually pretty disappointed with it. Once you get "the feeling" though, there's no going back. I can't keep a car on the track with a controller now. :) Although, it has to be said, sometimes I can't keep a car on the track with a wheel either.

New splits, again pretty inconsistent... Slower T1, same T2 but better T3 and to the line...

T1: 15.755
T2: 25.142
T3: 20.917

I reckon I've got another 0.2 in me and then I'm about done... but I'm more than happy with that considering how the week started on this challenge; couldn't even get round a full lap. :dopey:

Nice improvement during the week 👍

Munch, I also had the same experience when i switched to the wheel, You have to give it a month or two to properly learn. The first 2 weeks are the hardest but you have no choice but to knuckle down and just practice. Once adapted i garuntee you will be faster.

Another session completed and made the overal time a bit bette.

T1: 16,512
T2: 25,579
T3: 21,613

Thanks mate - the learning curve has been steeper than I thought it would be with this combo and Trial Mountain is aptly named ;) Rewarding when you make progress though. 👍

Busy week this week, so only my second real seating for WRS week 2. Never the less some slight improvements with more time to be found, over the weekend I hope!!

T1: 15.851
T2: 25.283
T3: 20.958

Thanks to both Chris and fryz for the advice!

I'm slowly getting there. Have put in about 30 laps with the DFGT tonight, have seen better times across all sectors but can't string a lap together with all good splits!

Need to get me a wheelstand so I cant me a comfy position rather than the wheel just above my knees and too far away!! :)

A massive .057 improvement.

T1: 16.142
T2: 25.009
T3: 20.938

T1 is not my friend. Have had the odd one around 15.8xx but really struggling with consistency. Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit smoking.

I was looking at the positions currently for this weeks WRS for Division 4. Props to Littlelefty, that's really quick for a D4 driver. I see promotions in the near future :)

Congrats on the wheel! ... Mainly because I didn't want to be embarrassed by you and DODC with your DS3s every week. :D

His sector 2 time is faster than some of the aliens, with that difficult tight turn after the first tunnel, and the difficult turn into the 2nd tunnel. No offense to him, but it made me wonder if he was using the right tires, at least. :)

Thanks.... But I'll still be posting DS3 tines until I nail the wheel ;)
