The OP's pretty clear about that.... I think
The way I read it, we're meant to use the version of the car available in arcade mode.
i'm 100% sure about that one. Don't use your own car but the one that is avalible in the arcade mode.
Quick question about this:
"Grip Reduction on Track Edge" setting...
Has anyone noticed any actual difference in changing this?
First attempt:
T1: 15.564
T2: 40.843
T3: 1'01.623
Cheers.

I'm done with this WRS stuff. Too much room for avoiding the rules, and that's no fault of the mods. If any mods are seeing this, please take me out of the registry.
I don't doubt that the majority of the peeps participating are legit, but the non-legit section is enough to spoil it for me.

You want to be on 230km/h going over the start line.

Believe it's only for rain races, but i'm not 100% sure about it. If it did mather it would not be optional
You want to be on 143mp/h going over the start line. This side the water. You want to be on 230km/h going over the start line.

Yeah I'll bet you are, matey, heheLook forward to seeing your splits at Trial Mountain 👍
I don't think there is much room for avoiding the rules really and reckon most if not all of us willl stick to them anyway. The whole point is to do the best you can and measure yourself against your peers... you'll know who they are and the fastest times will be set by the same folk usually, all of whom have pretty good reputations here. You're worrying over nothing and spoiling it for yourself. Just relax and have fun going as fast as you can within the rules.I'm done with this WRS stuff. Too much room for avoiding the rules....
The key to getting a good start really lies at the last chicane.
You want to be on 230km/h going over the start line.
Once you can nail that you can get under 16:000 on the first split and set yourself up for a hot lap.
Id expect to get another second off my best.
I personally think there is quite a big difference. Have a try and make up your own mind, but a wheel in the grass yields very different results for me at least. I always set it to real when I'm hosting my concours club as I can be sure everyone participating is using the same settings. If I had to speculate Kev has made this optional so nobody can gain an advantage by using one or the other. If you find the low setting to be quicker for you, Kev has allowed you to use it 👍 Personally I'm going real
Btw my heart sank when I saw week 2 had 'supra' in the title. I'm an avid cockpit user and I thought we were onto the standards already Personally I wont compete in standard events, just a preference, but I wondered if there were plans to use them at all? Using every premium car would last the WRS at least 4 years without them after all 👍
Is there a change to the leaderboard in the works were you just post the intermediate splits as they show up on the replay live timing and the leaderboard then calculate the splits?
