No submission from me this week. Off to Scotland tomorrow early and the lap on the board is from only a first effort. See you all in August 👍

Made an improvement in time, but had an UGLY T2 and T3.:grumpy:

T1: 27.007
T2: 19.684

-----

EDIT 1: I know I've got a bit of time out there I can make up, it's just the consistency, one small wrong move and it's over.:nervous:

-----

EDIT 2: Made a minor improvement in T1 time, tied my T2 time, but ended up .4 ahead at the line.
Still had an ugly T2. That section is still hit or miss.:grumpy:

T1: 26.971
T2: 19.684

Thanks everyone, she's doing fine and should be released tonight or tomorrow. :)

167/168 mph, will restart the lap if im not at that at that speed going over the line
Hopefully I'll get to find out how you're getting that speed over the line, before the deadline. ;)

I manage 166 usually, though I've found the T1 difference between 164/166 still less than a tenth, as this car picks up speed so slowly coming to redline it seems the difference is made up (the slower speed catches the faster speed) very quickly.
But to get those speeds at the line it must be an awesome T3.

268/269kmh over the line here which equates to 167mph in old money. How you apex and exit turn 1 makes a bigger difference to your T1 time though once you're up around these speeds.

Agreed that 168mph must mean an awesome T3

CSLACR, glad to hear about your mom is doing better.

I'm not sure I would call turn 2 addicting, I guess I'm more intrigued and a bit frustrated that I can't figure it out. I suppose it's one of those that when you "get it" you can almost do it again at will... Like the exit onto the straight, for the longest time I was clipping the end of the outside curbs at about 230km/h until I figured out how to really do it and exit at about 239-240 instead (which gave the 268 across the line some others have mentioned).

I was planning to give it another go today but got distracted by some visitors at our local track...

But frankly there was one car that was doing circles around everyone else:

Sorry for going a bit off topic, I'll try to get a decent lap down tomorrow! :)

Thanks

Turn 2 I hate, it's the final turn that's fun. :D
I'll take the red one on the far right. ;)

Seems everybody is bringin' the heat this week. A special nod to my D4 brethren; you guys are gonna kill me with those times! I suppose that's what I get for taking a day off.

CSL, glad your family is okay. All the best to them.

And I'll take one of each, yanaran. :D

Good to hear mom-in-law is doing fine!

Don't worry Dan - everyone has days when all co-ordination goes out the window. You'll go half a second quicker tomorrow

How did you know that?!

T1: 27.358
T2: 19.908

Better T1, slight up-tic on T2, a better T3!

Reached my skill level for this track....and submitting.
Need to catch up on some seasonal events. $$$$$

yeah, I'd taken going to the track over running HSR also.... sweet cars.

I don't see how you get to 168, I've only seen 167 a few times, usually 166 though.

Soooo frustrating that second turn! :banghead:
I think I will submit now before I break my wheel into pieces.

LOL speedy, I pretty much can do it blind folded..... ok, maybe not, I learned to wait until the last second, slam the brakes down and turn left and mash the gas, to me it feels like it catches on the rumble and for the most part it will stay there, occasionally I'll have to tap the brakes to keep it off the wall, and of course, alot of times I'll graze it or flat out nail it. usually if anything though its just a slight graze if anything. I love watching the replays though when you hold it about a foot off the wall...... very cool to me.

How did you know that?!

Hehe - that's usually how it goes. Nice one Dan 👍

I keep doing that lose a bit, gain a bit thing. Annoyingly inconsistent with my sectors. Best T1 so far 26.690, best T2 19.481 but can't stitch them together yet...

Knocked a few hundredths off my T3, lost a few hundredths in T1 but still a net gain at the line:

26.767
19.501

Looking for a tenth (again).

Edit - Speedy that was awesome. 👍

Broke out my Prototipos and I think I hit the magic lap for this week.

T1: 26.951
T2: 19.800

Saw a 26.940 this session but promptly stuffed it in the wall because I forgot to brake for turn 3. :banghead: T2 is the best from recent memory and I feel pretty good about T3 as well. I think this is the third time this week I've blasted my goal and I don't think I have much left in me. Happy, submitting and wishing everyone the best of luck if you're pressing on until monday.

Way to go Venom, soooo, close in Division 4. Tipping my hat Mate, still have a few runs in me.

I want your T2 time its really great and 1 tenth better than mine:tup:
You'll find very quickly to gain time you'll always be changing good sectors with bad. :D
It's part of the WRS hell that makes a satisfactory lap worth every second spent.

My best sectors would put me in the mid-low 46.1's, but not only have I not strung anything faster than 46.221 together, even that lap ended slower than my current.

Just try to remember it's a race to the finish line and not sectors and you'll do very well come results time. 👍

Carlos - 51 this week so far :D

Better than last night's time, at the line:

27.044
19.702

In D3, amazing that T13R and teecro with their DS3's are 4th & 5th!👍👍

Using Vagabond's BB 7/10, ABS 7.

Thanks. My best possible first 2 sectors are on the current leaderboard and added together. I found some more time thru T3 but I have to be right on my ghosts bumper at T2 to get it and its quite difficult to say the least to do right now anyhow.

Id like to get some of those 2 tenths its possible to get thru T2. That would make getting a better OT that much more probable.

I have submitted my time with these splits:

26.952
19.600

I've seen a faster T1 on multiple times (by about one tenth), but not in the last two sectors. Great to see that the competition is so close and all the advice about best driving lines and gears throughout the lap. 👍

T1: 26.825
T2: 19.769

Only knocking off hundredths now.

About .1 slower in T2. I think I can knock that out again.
