Wow, another tight week. About 0.2 improvement over your previous splits gained you about 10 spots on the LB! Rock it, Brother. 👍
Hope to join you there soon!
OK, I'll admit it, I have no idea how to get time from in T2.
I can see why i am losing it, but getting it done, not possible.
I spun lots of laps tonight and nothing worked for me.
This combo got the better of me this week.
Good combo Kev, just cant get it to mesh for me.
Good luck All.
Cheers !!!
Adam, the S's in T2 were giving me problems when I was using the wheel, specifically the transition from the 1st left to the 2nd right. I could feel something in the force-feedback if I tapped the brake at the wrong spot. When I figured out that any brake tap there needs to happen
only while the wheel was straight-ahead, the unsettling mid-corner stopped. I'll go back to the wheel to try to fix my problems there, but using the DS3 seemed much easier, for the track as a whole.
Alternatively, you might try describing your techniques for us and maybe someone could find a useful tip to give?
This might be grasping at straws, but I'm curious about how you fast guys treat tight turns like turn 1, where the obvious line is to cut onto the rumbles/sidewalk, getting you a little air. My reflex is to wait until it settles/lands before powering-on.
-> Probably better to only let the right tires hit the rumble? Meaning, try to take a similar cutting line, but try hard to leave the left wheels on the ground, so you can get on the throttle a little earlier?
