Cool challenge! Those downhill right handers are killing me. Apex? What's that? Seem to need a mind-set that I am turning in super early as if I was going to drift before the corner, but then kinda straight line through them. Feels really weird ..... That's probably the slow way to do it lol
Haven't settled on best brake balance for me yet. Above was run on 7/4, but it may be too much...
Struggling to get a good T1 , can't figure where I'm loosing the time yet. Using ABS 9 BB 8/4. Don't forget to watch you're replays at least once in the cockpit view. Looks cool with the wooden wheel and rain pelting down on the windscreen 👍
Tricky little monkey this week, and I suspect that the order at T1 will not bear much resemblance to the results. Plenty of time to be won and lost in the last two turns...
Welcome to GTPlanet. First off, please have another look at the AUP you agreed to follow when signing up for an account. Be sure to use appropriate punctuation and grammar, such as a capital for the pronoun I and a period (or in the case of your question above, a question mark) at the end of sentences.
Had another session, managed to knock a bit of time off on both sectors.
T1: 58.594
Starting to get to my limit now, a few more tenths in it for me overall I think. 👍
Running Active Steering on Strong now, which I still think might be slower overall but it helps me a lot through Turn 3 (where I restart 80% of my laps....)
For what it's worth I ran ABS 10 and BB 0/0, first tried AS strong, then improved with AS off, just like always.
I'll have to test and see what stops the quickest here, very new to wet tracks myself, only ran these twice each before.
I had a go at this yesterday and I'm way off the pace at the moment, I'm just not used to driving in the rain. I think the following was the split time on my best lap to date.
Finally found my comfortable pace in T1. Think there's another 0.2 in T1 and lost 0.2 in T2 nearly running off the track but jumped on the HB to save the lap, but was waaayy out wide on the last turn Need to clean that up.
