GTP_WRS (GT5) Week 46 : An M3 on S3's at GVE

I don't know how those pedals are but with my DFGT I had to stick something under the brake padel spring to give it more tension upwards.

They do not need tension upward, there is no slack when they start braking out of nowhere. I suspect there's either slack in gears that drive the potentiometer or the pot itself needs replacement.

Your T1 is almost identical to mine, but you've got about .350 on me in T2. After trying to better myself and get the cleanest, fastest lap possible, I finally came to the conclusion that I just need to go wild on some cars... so on to Dirt3 I went!

I'm anxious to see what wk47 brings...

Excellet T2 Chuk 👍 - beats my fastest ever T2 by 0.01 and I imagine your t3 is half decent as well so you should be on for a top 10 finish. Very competitive event this week, especially in D2

I owe a big thanks to Jake for the latest improvement!

Not only did he talk me through his lap, he also fixed the game settings to maximize the tv, so now I can actually see the end of the tunnel, before it was just a huge ball of white ethereal mass!! 👍👍

Thanks. I was starting to lose my mind before having a bit of a break through. At one point I had a 10 lap session where every lap but two were within 0.10 of my personal best ghost and yet not even once did I beat the bugger.

I had to unload that ghost as it was a curse and immediately began to set better laps... psychological obviously.

It's only my second time trial since getting promoted to D2 and I have to remember that a podium is not likely very often and in particular with a field like this!

I was very surprised to see myself ahead of you on the leaderboard after our first online test session, couldn't quite match your pace apart from T3 and occasionally T2 when online, nice to see the online session helped you out as much as it helped me!

Going to submit with current splits, think the wife will kill me, or worse divorce me if I throw any more time at this one!!

I've been (probably unwisely) flipping between DS3 and the new G27 to push myself, so it feels like I've driven twice as far for half the result so far.

Two sessions in on the DS3, and I'm at:

T2: 21.118

... with the wheel now .006 behind

It feels like when I used to play pool left hand vs right, and lose.

Just had another 45min session on this and I think I may have reached my limit. I bought a steering wheel a few days ago and have only just managed to beat my last best lap (set using a DS3), but hopefully on the next event I will be even better, as I love my Driving Force GT

Hi all, I hope everyone had nice Christmas and New Year celebrations 👍

I never really got back to this other than going through my saves and choosing the cleanest one I don't think I could match those top T1 splits if the deadline was 2nd Jan 2013 anyway also I know now after reading some write ups that i messed up by never using 5th gear on the start straight
...ah well it was fun anyway and i'm gonna submit my mediocre laptime now before i decide to race it again

Awesome splits guys I'm clueless how to come close to a 24.4 / 24.5!

Started to get very irritated, to do so many stints without any progression. Was probably to focused on T1. When I had a decent T1 I screwed up the rest Like many and said many times before. The story of our life. But finally I pulled it off. Was a tiny bit faster in each sector but I’m happy with it.
