Edit: short session tonight. Better in the first two splits, slower in the third for a measly half a tenth at the line. You're still safe Matt :sly:

Well I think I found my super lap...

T1: 10.727
T2: 19.895

Improved the last sector by a whole lot too. Did this with bb 6/8 and ABS 4.

It's my first round this week, just qualified. Seems like a very friendly community and a great place to get more out of a really decent game.

My first splits:

T1 10.779
T2 19.923

Definately have a lot to gain in t3 though, seem to take a new line every lap.
Currently running abs-8 and bb-7/2.

Heads up - If you want the leaderboard to pick up your splits you are posting, you need to put them in a format it will recognize.

T1 xx.xx
T2 xx.xx

You don't even have to type the splits in that format. Even if you just put the numbers themselves in the 2 lines separated from text (like the 2 posts above yours), the LB will pick them up.

Nice opener, Al. 👍 I've got 1.5hrs into this one so far, and you've got my T2 beat by a tenth. I haven't posted my splits because I hate being behind Hasslemoff. :grumpy::lol:

The tips posted for the one turn in T2 have been helpful in planning how I'll attack my next session, though, so thanks guys. 👍

I have forgotten about this for a couple of days, just got my ADSL2 connection up and have been racing online :D It's now just after 5am and I'm still buzzing but there's no one to race :(
So back to the time trial :dopey: done about an hour to beat my time with no other lap even close to my last best. On the replay it is really close heading into the tunnel:nervous:, i think it's clean but i hope i go faster before the end of the week just to make sure.

Thanks Dennis (call me Jon) - but I need all the laps I can get if I'm to understand and be consistent T3. I did have a lap that is a shade faster to T2, but the T3 was even more woeful than this one.

Does look nice on the splits leaderboard thought doesn't it :D

Ok Jon. Does look great indeed. Almost had you there :sly: but couldn’t pull it together with a good T3 :grumpy:

Saw .4xx at T2 3 times. Even 2 laps is a row. 2 of them where slightly better than yours and a .494 ;)
 
First splits:

T1: 10.691
T2: 19.733

Best T1 was .613 I hope to have more time this week but I doubt it with school atm :(.

Yes it's that sort of track isn't it, the time can just bleed away at each hairpin. My best to T2 is a .484 but I have also seen some .6's in T1 so under 30.45x should be on to T2 - just need to sort out a decent T3 to go with it :indiff:
 
This track is harder than it looks, especially the third hairpin in T3, I keep messing that up and spinning.....

First splits after a few laps are:

T1: 11.167
T2: 20.755

I know I can do better, and have done, its just that damn hairpin that messes up the lap!!
 
Found out where I was losing a lot of time in T3, now to work T1 and T2

Just decided for myself that I won't use my wheel again until it gets fixed..
I don't have very much luck with wheels...:(

Don't know if I'll submit yet...:indiff:

Scratch that, the delivery guy just delivered it to me at work, worst part is I have to finish the day before i can take it home and set it up!!

Speaking from the other side, if I was able to try it, it would stay, slap a company Logo on it, and restrict to lunch or after hours.


About the G27, is it going to change my times using DFGT? Mine is being deliverd thursday.
 
Blew lots of 30.47x runs this eve so no improvement here but another tenth is possible/very difficult. T3 very difficult to match.

It may. The pedals are quite a bit different, you should be able to make more accurate throttle and brake inputs.

On the steering part, the DFGT is pretty darn good, but if yours is worn out, you'll notice a difference.

For me, I would say a proper setup made more of a difference to my times than the change from DFP to G25, but I basically made that whole transition at once.
 
Will try this tomorrow after work when my 4 days off starts, Not looking forward to those tyres though :P should still be a blast anyway on a nice simple flowing track like this 👍

Not much quicker in the first two sectors, but gained .16 over all. Saw a couple 30.4xx t1/t2 and some low .6 t1 so I think there's about .2 left.
