What happen to your wheel?
I had the 'connection issue' from the start but on top of that my FFB seems really weak from what I've heard from other Fanatec wheel users. I can't drive without max FFB and even then I would like it to be stronger.. It's driveable but I just want to get it sorted first..
Also, the connection issue makes it impossible to get a good result in online races most of the time.

Yeah I have the opposite - FFB @ 30-50 or its too much effort ;-)

Hope you get it sorted Wes! ;)

:/ Bad luck Wes.

But I think I know the catch with GT3 RS - lack of effective cooling makes wheel heat up a lot (mine gets boiling hot after a long stint) and the manual says "FFB motors can't work for over 1h under constant FFB" so I guess that's why wheel cuts off.
And as for weak FFB it's the same thing - after long stints wheel gets hotter and so the CPU sends less power to FFB motors to stop them from frying (that explains weaker FFB).

I have had many disconection issues with my GT3 RS but those didn't happen in good 2 months now.
And as for weaker FFB - yes I notice that too, but I just let the wheel cool off.

You gotta accept the fact that GT3 RS isn't the wheel for endurance races.

I would think it's the wheel for 15 minutes sessions but not even that...
I've had some online sessions where the wheel disconnects every single race. Races of around 10 minutes...

As for the weaker FFB... It's not strong in the beginning of my sessions either...
I can't accept that.👎

Edit: May have overreacted a bit... I'll use the wheel for TT but not online anymore...

I haven't had the time yet..

Well, when you do have time make sure you unclude everything they ask in the mail.
[Serial number, device name, system the device is used on, software the device is used on, date of purschase, picture or .pdf or your invoice or any other purchase confirmation and a short video of the problem (although in your case disconections would be hard to take a shot of but at least you could show weak FFB by turning the wheel with 1 finger and things alike)]

I had a faulty CSP clutch sensor and my support request was taken care of pretty quickly, I got all replies within 1 day and new sensors got delivered to me.

Good luck with your problem mate!

Not true. Longest session I've done with my GT3 so far is about 4 hours, then a half hour break, then another 3 hours (doing the Suzuka Endurance race in the rain). I've not a single problem with my wheel so far, not one.... not even a small one. It gets quite hot and the fan comes on, yes, but the thing runs a Mabucchi RC racing motor for FFB so its going to get hot. But it doesn't get any hotter than my G25 used to and after half an hour running its already as hot as its ever going to get.

Yes it's that sort of track isn't it, the time can just bleed away at each hairpin. My best to T2 is a .484 but I have also seen some .6's in T1 so under 30.45x should be on to T2 - just need to sort out a decent T3 to go with it :indiff:

Same as Fuji. T3 can cost you there as well  Makes it even more exiting. Can’t wait till the final results. Or maybe not

Just decided for myself that I won't use my wheel again until it gets fixed..
I don't have very much luck with wheels...:(

Don't know if I'll submit yet...:indiff:

That’s suck mate. Hope you can get back to the track soon. Good luck with it. I know it would drive me crazy. If I can’t get behind the wheel whenever I want.

EDIT
First splits:

T1: 10.691
T2: 19.733

Best T1 was .613 I hope to have more time this week but I doubt it with school atm :(.

//Edit Threw away a .60X T1 followed by .30X T2 :ouch:

I regret asking you why your not participate in WRS lately. Leave, go back to your homework

You know i'm kidding. Nice spilts 👍

My first 7 laps were all red :D
Late start as usual, but planning only a few hours this time. Promised.

T1: 10.860
T2: 20.363

Get a CSR - My CSR has never felt hot, or even warm for that matter - the only annoyance was the wireless Xbox360 mode squeal which went away with firmware 706 beta.

The FFB is too strong for me in Gt5 - i've got it turned down to 4 in the GT5 settings but still only use 30-50 on the wheel - 10 in the snow recently.

See no point in 100 FFB with the CSR, unless you like to lift weights while driving - on this weeks event at Eiger I wouldn't make a single hairpin with that turned on....

Speaking of which - where's that flippin' tenth..... to the track! :banghead:

Finally have the back end sliding like I want! I think there is still a few tenths left in me.

When I saw that T1, my heart started going. Then I was just praying I didn't crash, luckily I didn't :sly: Not sure how I did it, my closest before was .82x

Hahaha thanks Dennis, won't happen again

New splits, not super happy with T3. Best T1 was .57X but crashed in the tunnel :D.

T1: 10.655
T2: 19.708

10.732
19.740

Almost blew it on the run to the line but stayed on the white lines. I now think there's a tiny bit more left having seen some better sector times tonight!

Had a go at the this but only lasted 5-6 laps, my pedals were moving far to much in the hairpins when braking so had to give up :grumpy::ouch:

If I can sort out a mod for my pedal plate I will be having another go before the deadline, seems to be a fun combo.

Really wanted to play GT now I have my new setup, but it's going to have to wait until I have managed to sort this issue out. I did get the buzz back in those few laps I did get to do though, which is a good thing :D

Will you quit moving the goalposts :ouch: :sly:

Saw a 10.7xx once... will I ever see one again? Stay tuned!

Wow, Al! 👍

At last some seat time this week.

Best, but with a weak T3 :ouch: was:

T1: 10.652
T2: 19.691

Still have a lot to learn about the last sector

Very nice Joao  I feel your pain on T3...very much, but at least you have a 0.15 headstart on me

New ones for me, after my second session tonight. Think I have settled on 3/6 for brake balance. Picked up about 0.5 at the line. :)

10.778

I've reached my session quota so I've submitted my time, I think I got a good T3 but I'm not really sure about that.

I've switched off the active steering, I was a bit slower with active steering switched on, the car doesn't turn so well with that.

I've used a brake balance of 6/5, more brake force at the back than in front without active steering is almost a suicide at the right hander exactly after T2 split.

Nice to see D1G guys taking it on with eachother. 👍
Some  splits guys!
