Wow, that is certainly some first sector, I thought I'd have a sneaky try with this tune, unfortunatley I can't get the first sector under a minute :nervous:

and only at 204bhp aswell :scared:

Think I may have hit my magic lap, but still going to try to push faster.:scared:
Cleaned up my T3 a lot from my previous fastest, along with faster splits.

Decided to give EDK's tune a try.
Slower splits, faster lap.
Feel I can go faster, but that involves piecing everything together right.:banghead:

Having biggest issues with Degner at this point. I either think I've got it perfect and end up losing control or I go in too slow and spin. Definitely can't bomb into it like it's dry.

I know I can go faster yet.

No disrespect to Praiano, but it's not an SRF issue like Mike had with the Alfa is it?

I was thinking the same thing lol :D
It was with the RX-7 though, i was impressed how easy it was lol

If its without SRF, well done praiano! :)
No matter what im sure your tune will help, your MR2 on the 400PP shootout is really good:tup:

It's not that I'm doubting his skill, just that he's 0.6 up on Wes and James in this skill and...well, they're no slouches are they?!?

I got some tuning done today and found out 3 major problems in my online-offline conversion setup.

One of them was the Limited slip which I don't understand and can't tune at all.

Thanks for the LSD settings praiano63

Once I fixed the the other two I got a lap that had a lucky mistake in sector 1 and a very lucky and a close Degner 1 entry.
And the sector 2 was way faster than I thought it was.

59.834
49.269

Such a smooth lap , just one flaw in it..

Sorry, SRF yes. It is my new account GTP and i have check only TC. The SRF was ON and i did not see. It seems that it come with it when you open a new account???

Sorry for this. I will take out my times now.

Dont worry, i did the same on my first event lol

Theres great people here, you will like the WRS :)

And Wes is definatly fast :) I see him in D1 gold in a near futur! 👍

Praiano, Nice Avatar, you surf?

I surf a lot since early 80´s till 2000 , after get kids, better thing in a life but not good for surf. Just hard job, no time, need to pay the bills.

Rain dance now is more hard. Stupid SRF:ouch: . Just now i check the leaderboard, so much good people slower than me, if i had seen this first i´ll know something wrong was happening.

This combo has been trying my patience too much, I doubt I will try again. Whenever I got to T1 without spinning out first, I found I was at least a couple of seconds off the pace compared to racers I'm usually close to.

I long for dry tarmac... :(

Maybe Tim will give me front row tickets for the online events? :dopey:

You are always welcome to front row tickets in the lounge or the remote view via Speedy's feed. Maybe our online event will end up dry too! You never know with changeability set at 10.

Finally had some time to sort out the lap a bit. Still some time in T1, but I don't know if I'll have much more time this week.

1'00.618

BREAKTHROUGH.;) Thank you Praiano! Changed a few things but great tune!:gtpflag:

Surfed longboard in 60's then realized I could Die!:scared:

1'01.437
50.645

New splits:

T1 1'00.932
T2 49.994

An average t3 for me, but can still hopefully find more in t1 and 2. Hopefully 4-5 tenths over the lap.

First splits to get on the board.
T1: 1'00.916
T2: 50.515

I look forward to working on this hard on Monday, but it will depend on my Super Bowl after-effects!! :)

Found the time I wanted through sectors 1and2, but lost some in the final sector:

T1 1'00.770
T2 49.883

Hopefully will manage a better lap before the deadline.

Nice entrance Pekka 👍

Still using my own setup but struggling a bit to make good progress with it so may have to try a few others. Still made a step forward today anyway:

59.881
49.665

Identical sector 2 time to my previous splits. As unlikely as it should be to do that, it seems to happen quite frequently. Hitting the track tomorrow for an extended session and looking for about 0.5 on the lap I think.

Great battle going on at the top of D2 - nice job hanging in there Tim, considering your initial appraisal of your wet track skills :sly: Nice going too Jon and Kev 👍

And Wes is definatly fast :) I see him in D1 gold in a near futur! 👍

Amen to that :P

Thanks Chris - think I'm probably done with this event. Have had a couple of short sessions but I can't get near my lap time. This despite being up by 0.2 at turn 3 EVERY lap - my fast lap has a slide in turn 2 which delayed me getting back on the throttle. Based on the ghost overtaking me every time after that though, I think the rest of the lap is about as fast as I can go.

Fingers crossed for T3, and that the rest of D2 doesn't go faster :nervous:

Yes, you should stop. There's no way you're going to beat that lap. :sly:

I'm hoping my relatively magnificent T3 propels me past at least 1 of you. ;)

Here are my latest splits:
T1: 1'00.686
T2: 50.070

Pretty poor t3, though. I don't know how much more time I'll spend on this, but the closer I get, the more I want to keep trying! :sly:

Racing On!

 Kevin, I'm hoping my t3 gets me past Tim!!

I'm pretty bad in the final sector most weeks (without knowing it) so I think you are probably safe.... I don't think mine is "bad" this time, but it's not perfect.

I've been done with this one for a couple days myself... Ready to move on to whatever else pops up next.

Going to put some time in tomorrow morning.

Off for the superbowl but I think instead of watching football I will be pounding some laps out

Justin

I know what you mean, my best T1 is 1:03.5??:ouch: I'll wait for the next one. I just get annoyed and drive into the wall.

I have taken 4 seconds off my total lap tonight and not made a dent in t1.

Had a better lap, was more untidy but quicker, so hopefully can find some more time. Kept it in a straight line through the last sector, and less wheelspin for 2tenths at the line.

T1 1'00.744
T2 49.902

Maybe a tenth or two left, I hope. Did see a .44X at t1 but not sure if I will again.

Same tune, changing LSD settings got me a little more.👍

T1 1'01.034
T2 50.107
