Might give this a final go later, but for now I'm done with it. Surprisingly fun to throw this car around such a unforgiving track 👍

I caught Nine_Hundred! Mike, your turn! Good competition bud, and Yeah, its going the be the T4, that last right turn on two wheels! Submitting, good luck!
Got so excited did not save properly. new times

One more go. That's all.
I promise.

I'm hoping to run to the deadline. 👍

Having the house to myself this evening. ;)
Will be running this one 6 hours non stop untill deadline keeping my cool and hoping on a really magic lap. :sly:

Nice splits Baron!

I beat my splits four times last night, but my t4 is hot.....couldn't beat the ghost to the line :-(

Last try tonight. Needs a 1.11.2x to get it done. Tough!

Going to have to have another push at this tonight. This combo is very addictive and quite fun! its so hard to perfect....

Pushing for D3 top spot hopefully!! 👍

Great combo, one of the prettiest GT cars in the game and in the world. Too bad a WRS week is over so soon!

First splits:

19.020
31.083
25.140

Will find some more time hopefully tonight before the deadline.

Final splits after a crazy hour last night :dunce:

Finally was hitting .1x and .2x at T3 but could´t get the all night an average T4.
This track should be called "Curse mountain" :banghead:

Even so nailed a lap i´m happy with, but with a really bad finish :ouch:

T1: 18.246
T2: 28.703
T3: 24.122

Lost .2x on T4 to my best but i don´t have the strenght to hunt them

Loved and hated the week, thanks Lucas 👍:yuck::dopey:

Good luck to all still on the track, and Baron and Matt, you don´t need to keep trying tonight if you don´t want to :sly:

(but where is Chuck??? :boggled::odd:)

Sector 1 is a good demonstration of chaos theory. Tiny variations in executing turn 1 can have enormous effects on how I exit turn 3.

I've made a slight improvement overall (0.02x) despite being over a tenth up at T3. I messed up the final chicane. Hope to have another go tonight.

Found a bit of time, but t2 and 3 felt sluggish - especially the right hander before the end of t3, definitely lost a tenth there.

Hope to get a cleaner run tonight before the deadline.

Every time I see the title of this I think Mount Madness, not Mount Masarati  quite fitting when you think about it :)

Submitting with these splits:

18.439 :ouch:
28.557
24.161

I've seen one 18.2 T1 and did alot of 18.3's, but this was my best laptime.

Nice splits, US, should be close at the line. Depends on how 'bad' your last sector was. We'll see tomorrow 👍

I'm very happy you did these splits, as I no more can blame my early (forced) submission. Even with more time to play and linking my PBs with a decent T4 you are definitively out of range, .... as usual (I guess your name isn't 100% inspired by a movie.... Joao :D )

Thanks Chris 👍 hope you manage to get "that lap" again :sly:

Thanks, and it´s really bad as i have a .2x split at T3 that´s almost the same final time :ouch:

(I guess your name isn't 100% inspired by a movie.... Joao :D )

Got me there Paul :sly:

Had to pull another magic run because I was very close on second turn. Lost .006, but feel better about submitting. Had a very fast run last night, a lot faster, got excited, did'nt save properly. :dunce:SAD!

18.536
29.134
24.560

Couldn't figure out T2 to save my life. I tried everything except the RIGHT thing! I got a 28.8 once, didn't save it or study it figuring that it happened in the natural progression of improving times and I have NO idea of how I did it. DAMN! So if anybody looses it in T2 they can blame it on running over the loose .5 second I lost and couldn't find there :dunce:! I DID look for it. For way too long last night. Great challenge though. Loved it 👍.

T1: 18.366
T2: 29.237
T3: 24.316

Going back to previous slower splits. Was a close call over the jump and put in too much effort for a red flag. Im not going to get another chance before the deadline, so will submit with these:

T1 18.338
T2 28.875
T3 24.342

Threw away a 1'11.35x and a few 11.4s. Definitely could have been quicker but am still pleased with my lap.

Good luck to everyone still going, see you in the results thread.

Cheers

Final try and I actually understand the first sector now, done several 18.0. Unfortunately this laps is not one of them... :grumpy:

Even so it's still my fastest and the one I will submit.

18.272
28.499
24.218

Louball your going to take some catching 👍

It seems when I get a good T1 I mess the rest of the lap up, normally T2.

18.421
29.046
24.356

18.430
29.048
24.318

Submiting with these splits a better T4 only .04 at the line

18.438
29.111
24.392

Cheers, yeah t1 is the tough sector I think, the fastest line is really precise. Im trying to take a wider line into the first corner - like 2 wheels on the outside curb to square it off and keep the speed up. Had a couple of 18.1s but hard to fulfill it to the line. Hoping my t4 will be good enough.

Great analogy!

18.982
29.469
24.680

Slower splits all around, but one heck of a T4! (for a slightly better OT).

I've seen a .4xx T1 once, do you believe it? (I almost don't). But the s.o.b. didn't want to stick around.

Like a lot of people have already said, I improve my OT bit by bit, but not by improving a specific sector, each one varying widely from one lap to the next... *sigh*

Crap, I think I've had enough of it now. Its been an adrenaline rush of a week but the inconsistency is driving me mad. Submitting with these:

18.137
28.587
24.185

Up 0.028 at the line. Pretty sure I'm going to stop there.. left more on the track than usual but I think that's the curse of Trial Mountain - every corner is crucial and tiny mistakes are punished massively. Good luck guys 👍 It'll be close at the line I think Thomas

Well I'm done and submitting with these

18.351
28.642
24.172

I used... ABS 8, BB 8/8 & a mixture throughout the week of no active steering or mild active steering, for no reason whatsoever other than to tinker for the sake of it....I ran this lap with it at mild. 720 degrees rotation, as usual.

Lost a tenth in T4... :( This is a decent lap but I don't hold out much hope of jumping Joao or Racer_LP, but that's ok, no shame in that! I'll just be pleased to hold off the pack of wolves behind me :D

Pretty frustrating tonight - I hit 46.95x quite a few times but ALWAYS ruined the bottom of the hill turn, that one along with turn 1/2 really were the toughest for me. Didn't find the end of the lap that much of an issue.

Good luck if you're still gunning for it, I'm praying to the WRS gods that busting my ass tonight results in a podium spot. We'll see! :scared:

Just submitted my time

I just could not manage any more time. Just running ragged with my DS3.

Should be getting my wheel soon and hopefully that will help.

Justin

How do you update what you use on the timing site?

I use a DFGT but it shows N/A on the site, would love to know how to change that.
