GTP_WRS (GT5) Week 52 : Mount Maserati

Time to get half a second off my overall time, then I'll be happy. Need to sort out my T4.

What BB are people using?

Still another 1/4 of a second out there on PBs in all sectors.

I've started taking T1 in 3rd gear, it's so much easier and I've got lots of .3s today, which is the best I can get. In 3rd gear it's much more controllable and you can ignore the brakes. I'm sure .2s are possible with this method on a 'good' line.

Will have one more run tomorrow, but it's getting near the limit!

I really blew my T2 split with an average T3.... gonna have to hit the track again. I was mistaken though about T4....originally I thought it was good, but not my best...but it was actually a PB

This week has built up rather nicely!

The basic rule of WRS is *generally* not to disclose the last sector, in this case it is sector 4 - you should put up sectors 1, 2 and 3 - I think you have done this....but you mentioned 1, 2 and 4!

You may want to check you're on the right track and/or using the right car as well; you appear to be over a second quicker than Wes in sector 2

Matty, please start up Trial Mountain w/ the Maserati in Arcade Mode again, and check that Skid Recovery Force is set to off. A 27.1 in sector 2 is not possible, I'm afraid, if you're running all regs correct. Your T3 is a bit suspect too.

Every single time I get ahead of my ghost I mess up the end section by default best save has these splits but losing up to a good .2 from T3 to the finish line 👎

I don't think I will get the lap I was pushing for? which would be about .2-.3 better at the line! due to nerves and split watching haha! but it has been a very fun combo indeed!

It was my S4 that I accidentally posted, don't think I got below a :30.000 in S3.

And that's it unless I typed it out wrong, I'll go check and re-post sector 1, 2 and 3 and confirm all aids are off but ABS which was at 1.

Found my problem, had cut sector 2 out by mistake.

Do you have the correct tyres? It defaults to Sports hard if you do not change them.

Just submitted what I've done correctly so far. Somehow I managed to run for an hour this morning thinking I was just on fire because I was getting so fast, and it turns out that my SRF was on... I'm not even sure how that happened because I never use any aids but ABS...

Cheers mate! yep pretty much the same here Chris, I have 2 saves that are .008 apart at the finish line yet .3 apart at T3

I'm done with this one and submitting, must have left a good .4 on track that i should have been capable of going by comparing my splits but Que sara sara back to MW3 for a week or 2, whilst I have nothing to race... good luck in the results guys
