Managed about 40 minutes of ominous creaking.... enough to tweak a setup to my liking anyway. Started with Kev's (nice one mate ) and ended with this:

LSD 7/14/9

-25/-25
14.4/15.0
4/4
7/7
7/7
2.0/2.0
-0.09/0.00

BB 5/3 ABS 10

:ouch: There went my top spot on the board. :sly:
Sorry, jumped the queue. :nervous:

Splits:

24.290
30.229

Did a few 30.1s in sector 2 so looking for that next time.

Using Kevin's tranny which is just about perfect I think. 👍 Taking turn 1 in 6th, turn 2 in 5th. It is possible to take turn 2 in 6th as well if you nail the entry perfectly... 5th helps turn in but you need to be pretty quick getting back on throttle. 4th right through the double apex right hander, 3rd for the left before the tunnel at the end of sector 2, 4th in the tunnel and back down to 3rd for the sharp left after T2. Flat out through the esses, 3rd for the hairpin.

Excellent fun combo Kevin, cheers. I may not be able to run it properly again until next weekend but I hope I can squeeze at least a couple of hours in then. :)

No updates from me, but Chris (Vagabond) definitely knows where to tweak the tune to make it looser. Anyone looking for something in between the 2, just put them side by side and start sliding stuff. :)

Hey guys, am I doing it right?:sly:

Just want to make sure I've got the boundaries right:

"All tarmac is track surface" would include the tarmac outside of the white line, right? For example, the 2-3ft of tarmac outside of the white line on the outside after turn 1, after the rumble strip ends.

Thanks in advance!

Spamming the UCD in the absence of the OCD - had every MR2 apart from the one I want!!

That's correct.

As long as it's tarmac, rumble, painted white tarmac, tarmac outside a white line, or rumble outside a white line, you are good.

In general, the bad stuff is inside of rumbles. There are cobbles and concrete in several spots, and those won't work.

Jon, do you know about the UCD lists? They will help you predict when the car you want will be coming up in your UCD. The first link in TornadoAlley's signature is the file that lists the cars in the UCD, up to a certain amount of game days. You can find it in the first post on this page. Just PM me with the top six cars in your UCD if you want me to do it for you or if you need help.

Hi,
I'm new to this so not used to interpreting the rules. I see that your tuning suspension but dont see anything in the rules for this event about suspension mods. Are they always open on these events?

Welcome to the WRS mate  In a tuning event such as this one, restrictions usually only apply to the use of Turbos and/or Aero mods since they can be easily verified. Everything else is unrestricted including Fully Custom suspension. :)

Nice vid.

Edit: first splits...
Nice opening splits Jon 👍

Here's the standard Vagabond Sector 1 vid:

Now I can sit for the rest of the week and watch my time be caught, overtaken and drop steadily down the leaderboard :P

My "New Sherwood Toning" lacks some serious horsepower , after a complete rebuilt and change of oil it only haves 201 HP (204CV), think it has to do with the all the Km :sly:
Going to buy another on the OCD this night because really liked the combo and Chris tune 👍

Great opening Chris and Jon 👍

Not happy with the splits, but thought I'd submit anyway just to give me something to shoot for.
I can't seem to settle in for the 1st turn, car likes to drift out.

Try EDK's setup on page 1. Made a huge difference for me.

Are you sure you did an oil change and added all the parts? That power seems very low.

You can install all power upgrades except turbo. Also check the power limiter to make sure you did not have it set for a different event.

Did you do an oil change? You still need to do that, even if the car is brand new.

I try to keep it changed up, and balance it with all abilities.

Comfort soft are close to what we run on the race spec car, if you establish that by comparing laptimes. But I thought it was quite a handful with 200 HP, so decided to go grippier.

It also makes the high speed, flowing nature of the track come out a lot more.

It is true that the grip when racing on line is different, are we going to race this car and track soon? Yummie!

Thanks mate. Gutted I dropped a .285 in T1 on the lap previous. It's certainly a car you've got to keep on the boil...

All down to the last corner again :nervous:
