T1: 34point843
T2: 21point101

Better by a tenth at the line so I nailed T3 and fubar'd T1.

Lots to go here. Need to get consistent 34.5 T1's before I'm happy.

Much better T1.. Not such a good T2 or T3. Hoping I can put the full lap together.

T1: 34.256
T2: 21.087

still using 3/7 bb.

I tried to duplicate the combo w/ my Alpha in the Practice area on the Eiger to try to run some continuous laps. I played w/ tire compounds until I got one that was close to this weeks combo, the only problem was that I couldn’t go any harder. That’s right the tires that we are using this week due to the standing start are ICE cold SH’s and for one lap they are rock hard and have less traction then the Comfort Hards……… lol

Found more speed with BB 1/7, achieving submitted split of:

34.055
20.733

Speed readings for T1: 52(2nd), 40(2nd), 61(2nd), 66(2nd) Generally 3/4 ished the throttle during the drifts.

For the sweeping right I started a pwerslide at 93km/h in 3rd (quick downshift to 2nd just before), speedo dropped down to 84km/h, found the line and exited with very good pace considering the wild start to the corner.

Fast right is a bit of a makeshift corner, there are many techniques you can employ, on this occasion I chose a high velocity exit requiring 85 percent throttle after apex (148km/h) but a fullthrottle drift dropping down to 145-147 is slightly more effective and achieves faster speed through the left kink.

Final corner is again a lottery, as everything relies on how well you get the car to hault (I brake from the sandy lie that jaggs out from the left just to increase entry angle, but braking form tarmac probably enable more grip, possibly. I downsiftr to second and start accelerating out in 3rd at around 78.

A bit fixated on this combo.

T1: 34.407
T2: 20.882

Slower T1 by over a tenth, but faster T2. I wish I could put the full lap together. Oh well, may need to take a break for a few days.

Decided to give this week a go.

First Splits from me

Split: 34.468
Split: 21.010

Still time to be found in T1 and T2, a bit lost on how to do corner before tunnel. As for T1 Josh that is a crazy time, nice splits

I don't use TCS, although it might be effective at the start I guess, dont have the ability to turn it off after that though as it won't be very effective after the start, but maybe it could work.

Did some laps with TCS, best t times was 34,2xx and 55,2xx.
But lost always the car after t2.

Some improvements.

T1: 34.256
T2: 20.848

Hard to get into a rythm when you cannot do more than one lap a once but still enjoyable combo though.

34.005
20.878
-------

Finally figured out sector1,now I just need to put them all together!!:)

Hardly what you'd call progress through T1 and T2 but 0.25 up at the line:

T1: 34.653
T2: 20.949

Seen a T1 of 34.380 but suffered the good old surprise/crash reflex. Must stop looking at the timer while I'm on a run...

New Splits:

T1: 0'35.057
T2: 0'21.202
I ran a 34.85x but i suffered from the same surprise as vagabond, but instead of crashing I drove really really slow to make sure I made no mistakes.:yuck: i will conquer you sub 35 split!

T1: 0'34.924
T2: 0'21.142

New splits

Split: 34.329
Split: 21.015

Starting to get the hang of the first sector, but still not so good in sector 2.

Any tips guys.

Have been playing with launch options tonight, here's what I've found!

Full revs, TC at 1, launch off jump at 78mph

Full revs, TC at 10, launch off jump at 75mph

Full revs, TC at 5, launch off jump at 78mph.

Hold revs at 3-5000, TC at 1, launch off jump at 80mph.

Haven't tried with TC off enough to compare as just can't hold the car well enough through the rest off the lap to make it worth while! The MPH speeds are averages off 5 starts.

Oh, and my splits....

T1: 35.302
T2: 21.415

Sometimes you have to go backwards to go forwards. Sector 3 time is down, but man that first sector is a real tough one to crack!

T1: 35.430
T2: 21.454
