T1: 35.593
T2: 21.313

I have started to find some quicker ways to get around this old favorite that previous challenges have showed as the way around this track. As for the gold achievement in this challenge, I think this one rates up there with true difficulty.

T1: 35.387
T2: 21.306

I don't really like Eiger, but there was no way I wasn't taking part this week. While I probably won't submit this lap as it's a little suspect, I'll post up my splits anyway, so you'll all know where abouts I am at the moment.

T1: 34.877
T2: 20.995

I know I have a bit more in me, if only I can put all the sectors together in one lap.

First splits this week. had to strenghthen my homemade cockpit for the first four corners.

T1: 34.738
T2: 21.283

Fairly happy with T1 and T3 but more to come from T2.

Final splits for me:

T1: 35.024
T2: 21.230

I'm happy with my lap :-)

[EDIT]
Thought I'd post a pic of my close moment after T2:

Blech, I'm done! I hate this course slightly less than Monaco so I decided to give it a shot. I realize my throttle control with my thumbs is not good enough (yet) to get a consistent time with this monster through the first section. Saw a 34.9xx once but slid into the tunnel wall coming out of the big turnaround. Oh well.

For sure this track is tough with a DS3. So far with the wheel I'm about 0.7 seconds faster with the wheel than the controller.

BTW, I love the name. DigitalBaka. That's Japanese no? :)

It is. :) I am an anime fan and used to make anime music videos way back when. While trying to come up with a "studio name" I got a suggestion from a friend. Thus was born Digital Baka Productions and I've been using it since. :)

Back on topic somewhat, I do have a DFGT in the basement that I use with my computer. However, I can't find a good way to set it up in the living room for the PS3. The available chairs and tables just don't work together. Tried with it resting on my legs...wasn't pretty. I will build myself a rig for it this summer perhaps but for now I am mostly content to keep learning with the DS3.

T1: 35.284
T2: 21.291

Starting to make sence of it all :)

T1: 35.180
T2: 21.289

My first triple (all 3 sectors clean and my fastest over all) since my first sector calls.

Nightmare: My PS3 just got stuck on stupid and is acting like it’s in dream land I don’t know what to do, I maybe screwed for everything up to this point and I don’t know where I’m headed except to the store most likely to get a new PS3. Thank God I backed the entire PS3 a couple of weeks ago.

Just like they say about motors "they are the fastest right before they blow"

I'd like to be the kid in the blue cap snapping that picture! :D
Awesome splits! 👍

Is it possible to put 3 wheels off anywhere without a wall touch; think I might need to watch a bit closer if that's the case :nervous:

Right ,Spent 20 minutes I improved on Every Sector except T1 ,don't why But I am not even close to Yesterdays T1 times for me .So Gents any T1 Tips?

Nice pics, picture 2 looks great 👍

Really can't see why people complain about the smoke effects on this game :sly:

Sad, best T1 was 2 tenth faster....

Good luck everybody. :)

Faster T1, Slower T2, can not chain two fast sectors together.

T1: 34.907
T2: 21.461

I don't know if I'll have much time to recapture my old time since my new PS3 is DLing the monster update for GT5 and that will take about 4hrs w/ my DL speed :( life sukzz when you think that a full PS3 back up will save you from the "reinstall all software" time vacuum.
