Getting a little faster. I had the wheel out but got frustrated, put the controller back on and got my best lap!

Very happy with sector 2&3 but lost 0.2 on sector1 though....very iritating first corner!:grumpy:.....will have one more session tomorrow!:)

Can't believe this, I have the consistency in T1 and T3 for fast lines, but like I said really need help with what gears and lines you guys are using for T2. This sector is really frustrating me as I think with a good T2, I could really put out a fast lap. :(

If it wasn't for T2 I would probably be in the top 3, been running a lot of 35.8s in T1

Plato, I'm using 3rd, for the hairpin, upto 4th, back down to 3rd for the left and then up to 4th for the right onto the straight. Concentrate on a clean line here and get hard on the throttle on the apex. It helps if you have a slightly late apex. That's what worked for me and I've had .5's and .6's a few times.

If someone can tell me how to find the 4 tenths in sector 1 that everyone in front of me seems to have found then it would be appreciated!!
 
I am loving this week! Well every week so far! My driving is getting better. Still a long way to go! New splits. Might be my last for this week.

Thankzz Chuck :) , it's Littles time now so I don't know if I will have a chance to change my times. We finally have some great summer weather around here and were going to take his new bad boy go kart out to Blue Max on Mon. and then Prairie City on Tue. since he is out of school for Easter. Weeeeeeee

As for sector2,for the first right I brake around the first marker and throw a car in slight drift (bb 3/10).....going in 2nd gear at around 80-90% throtlle being at the inside of the corner as much as posiblle.Second 2 corners are classic slow in fast out with 3rd gear!

Hopefully this will help somebody and sry for my lack of english grammar!👍

I'm not finished with this time trial yet, I can see what I think would be a great time for me on this track. I have just got to sort out T2 and hopefully that should push me up the board. Don't be fooled by my placing on the boards at the moment though as I think I have a fairly strong T3 :sly:

Umm not everyone :dunce:

I find the key is turn 4, it is not intuitive. Follow the left curb after turn 3 for a bit, then sharp right turn and away through turn 4 as straight as possible. Careful throttle, you want max forward traction and no sliding.

When this line succeeds (too rarely I must say) I can get 36.0xx, else I lose 2 tenths or more.

Of course I assume you have already nailed the other 3 turns, but what do I know :)

Why, are you going over the curb in the first left-hander? Just curious, I have yet to decide if that is a good idea or not, it can really eat speed.

Went offtrack with 3 wheels at the exit of the right corner after T1.....3rd wheel touched that concrete after curb or whatever that is. It's a shame though because that was 23.2# time in sector2!!:ouch:
 
Thanks cicua, I think I have the first turn OK, but 2 and 3 are my issue. Struggle for line and jusging apex speed in 2, and then 3 always seems messy. I think I need to be more patient with the throttle to get the right line for 4.

Anyway, I haven't been on track for 3 days - looking to get some seat time tomorrow to at least improve my T3 and maybe even grab a couple of tenths in T1. Need to consolidate my position otherwise I'm going to be slipping down the order come results day! I would love a D3 podium, as well as exacting some revenge on Sidplayos 👍

Yeah I'm finding my T1 is won or lost at turn 4 - a neat apex is vital, avoiding the curb, and early on the power.

Indeed. I'm now seeing regular 59.3xx at T2 but am putting the car too wide at the run off on the outside of turn 4, or cutting the chicane too much. A weekend of broken sleep to watch F1 practice and qualifying has left me a bit fried and impatient so if I can't pick it up tomorrow, I'm submitting with what I have now.

You've got me this week easy, unless I can make 0.5 in T3. And you'll have me more than 2 tenths :sly:
Awesome job by you (and the rest) in the 23.5's , I can't come close to that this week. No more revenge please 👍

Took zoky's 3/10 BB and had instant results in T2 though, made a big difference, can be more consistent through there now.

Maybe 1 tenth or two in it , but no time left. Lost some time in the last corner got a bit sideways when my eyes went big that my ghost was behind me :ouch: And lost a bit in T3 as well.

The rally in me came out in T2 at the hairpin, nice slide into there :)

Can I just clarify something, the last chicane, 2 wheels on grass and 2 on the curb is allowed or not? I just ran my fastest lap and I'm scared I ruined it by cutting the chicane to early (I got excited). :nervous:

Guess we all know that feeling :)

It is clean as long it is the red/white part of the curb, not the green stuff.
