First tries, not broken in, around 620hp
21.683
19.901
17.484
Difficult throttle control with the pad been forced to up the TC even after adjusting LSD

Ran a stint yesterday with the Clueless tune and I was good.
Today I tried Chris´s tune (thx man) and I felt quite fantastic.

Ran a very good lap and this are the splits (40 laps), lost a little in the last sector :

20.534
19.299
16.579

I had to get some numbers on the board so I did a quick run, love the combo but can't get this beast to stop pushing!

AL

20.680
19.141
17.080

Did a quick run before Monday Night Football starts. Leaving time out all over as expected for a quick run and still have to dial in my tune.

21.128
19.617
17.089

Will get serious about it tommorrow.

20.407
18.878
16.484

T3 is going to cost me this TT. Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Using my own tune, will be posted after I'm done tinkering with it.

After my first few laps at full power.

20.885
19.116
16.758

I'm liking this combo 👍

But, Lucas, if the rumours of old tracks making their way back are true... maybe a classic muscle car at... Seattle before long? :embarrassed:

Daaaamn! I want to try this combo! So bad I'm not a WRS member yet.

You can always run the combo, you just won't be able to get on the leaderboard and you can't make any mention of your lap time either, not that anyone else can if they don't submit a time.

But... it is a good way to see where you place amongst the WRS members before you are eligible to officially compete. 👍

Edit: Something I've just noticed. It could be a glitch and I've seen it happen multiple times tonight for me. Every time I start a run, the "3" and "2" brake markers in the final corner fly away like they have been hit. The thing is, I've driven completely on the track and it's happened, and I've coasted over by the pit wall and it's happened. It's not that I'm concerned about it, it's just.... strange. None of the other markers exhibit this behavior.

It's happened in the past here, Shawn. Just make sure they all stay put when you view the replay. Wouldn't want to be DQ'd like me (Challenger) and T-L (RX-7 TC). :ouch:

Haven't checked the replay of my current best lap yet. I must have brushed them in a previous run and when I restarted they still fell over. My current fastest lap, I had to avoid one that placed itself in the middle of the track but it was just off the racing line I was using.

Edit: All good on the replay.

20.722
19.287
16.845

Only up to 80 miles and 628hp on this first session.

First shot, far outside from fast.

22.127
20.128
18.222

Now with the clueless tune.

21.059
20.503
17.997

Noticed the exact same thing, like we were taking them down with the fumes of the exhaust pipe!!!
Gravitron, just to make sure: Would we be DQ'd even with a clean lap if the markers are down??
Torino, welcome!! Glad to see more argentinos in GT Planet!!!👍

Yes a DQ if you hit a marker. And remember if you've knocked them over in a previous lap the ghost replay will magically show the marker again so avoid those markers and check the replay before submitting. Cones too right Lucas.

Ok, thanks! 👍
Yes, I noticed that too. Both brake markers are thrown it down.

Thanks Roamer! Glad to see an Argentinian guy around here! 👍

This same thing happens to me. When I go to complete my lap the marker is already on the ground. But when I watch the replay the marker is up and is not knocked down by my car. I would go by the replay. I'll take another look later, but the ghost replay is authoritative on the matter as far as the rules.

Just for the fun of it, I tried braking instead of going forward as soon as the lap starts, and you can see both markers being knocked down by some invisible force!! Pretty weird...

I watched my fastest ghost replay (from the replay theater) and none of the markers were knocked over. I used chase cam first to verify there was no contact and then used rear view mirror to watch the markers as I passed them and none of them went down.

I do know for a fact that marker #2 on the final corner is often down for no reason when I go to complete my first lap (and I don't touch it on the lead up to lap 1), but on ghost replay this marker is up and well and stays up after I pass.

I wouldn't rely too much on the regular replay from within the practice room as previous laps might impact what you see, but instead rely on the ghost replay from the replay theater. If a marker or cone is down on the ghost replay the lap is dirty and cannot be submitted.

Hey, that must be new!? We could not see any movable object in the mirror before.

Well reasons enough to stop with this weeks WRS. There is nothing anybody can do. If you drive completely on the left side of the track, the markers are gone the next lap. If for that reason your lap is gonna be dirty, the turnout of this event is gonna be small. By the way, there no advantage in lap time if you go of track on that spot, it will cost you time.

Just wanted to post that this combo is a great way to learn my way around Seca. But it's not gonna happen. Glad i read this now and not later in the week

Not really. Except for turn 1, if you're hitting the markers, you're a tiny bit off track and that isn't going to help you're times. I would recommend putting in a few laps. Not only is it a fun combo, after a few laps it becomes intuitive as to where the markers are.

Ah ok. That the markers are down on the last turn doesn't matter. I can imagine the marker on the first turn have to stay straight up. That makes sense.

Now i have to start liking the combo again, i already erased it in my mind

To avoid that marker situation, every time I noticed one was down, I was exiting to the track select menu and re-entering. I'm not even sure how those markers got knocked over. I was driving much closer to the cone at turn 1 (which is the kink at the top of the hill just passed S/F line) and the brake markers for the Andretti Hairpin and I wasn't knocking those over.

We've been to Laguna before and it wasn't a problem, can't see why it would be now...the only one to be mindful of is on the kink past the finish line. It's not the widest part of the track and the car is hauling ass at that point, it's not too difficult to do it...but it's easier not to do it, so don't do it :D

Need to run this again soon, but I'm still reeling after transamguy's herculean effort in the Copen

Good to see you back lapping, Jon! :D

Yah, I meant rear view not rear view mirror. Movable objects are still not visible in the mirror, but they are visible in the rear view from the replay or if you click rear view while doing a circuit of the track to look back.

 Thanks Matt - I'm a bit rusty to say the least, but it's nice to be back running again. Unfortunately, I've noticed that my throttle pedal doesn't shut off completely - I think it's been like that for a while but I've only just noticed the on-screen evidence. Need to get some WD40 I think 💡
