Forgot to save the ghost lap.

Edit: Apparently I didn't lose power. Could have sworn I posted that I was at 628hp last night and now it's at 627.

Edit2: I've somehow managed to drive miles off the car.

Edit3: Saved the lap this time. Which worked out since it was the fastest one so far.

Nearly dropped it on the last corner and lost some there for a small gain at the line. Best sectors now 20.196, 18.713(from current lap), and 16.166 so still looking for about 0.25 I think. Its going much better than I expected I must admit.

Looks like battle is joined in D2 - nice going Tim, Mohit... and Baron chasing you down 👍

Had another go and was inexplicably 9 tenths slower on the best lap and couldn't break 40 seconds. Really really struggling with under steer to a degree...but mostly just off the pace.

Tried a few laps, looks like whenever I go near the last corner before I start the lap when I downshift, one of them falls over, even if I'm miles away anyway here are my splits for today, tired chris tune, its fast but very hard for me to drive so I used CSLACRs tune

I've noticed that if you restart your session, whether it's through the pause menu or by exiting and re-entering the track without exiting back to the track select menu, those brake markers will fall down no matter what. As long as you avoid restarting, it won't happen unless you legitimately make contact with them.

@Matt. I have a different tune that is probably junk but it works for me. I'll try to get it posted tonight, I feel like it pushes a bit less than other tunes I've tried.

I'm not being aggressive at all (I tend to lose time if I try), but I keep saying "Slow in, fast out" in my head like a million times when I'm driving . Seems to help. You have to really this the apex late in a few corners.

Also, use as much of the kerb as possible.

Cheers guys. It's definitely a slow in kinda car, it ploughs like crazy for me otherwise. I ain't get a handle on when it's gonna grip or not grip, or when it's gonna oversteer or understeer? It's a finicky car on entry speed for sure....

Still, was determined to get a better lap and did, feels really sloppy though. No idea how you get that third sector so fast, the corkscrew is pretty much a new experience each time for me!

Anyway...

Full power now, hairpin and the first 90 right I'm doing fine with, but the next two are killing me. No confidence on those two and a poor conversion rate. Rest of the lap isn't too bad, last turn is a little tricky on exit but otherwise ok.

Bb 5/6, abs1 and using 25/25/9 LSD and slightly softer springs, otherwise roughly the same as Chris's setup 👍

Most people find chassis reinforcement causes understeer. And since understeer is such a huge problem with this car, I'd recommend trying without it.
