Love the Car
Love the Track
Love the Challenge
Love the Chris...ehhhh ,Chris' tune:)

Great combo, nice flowing sections followed by long straights to have a breath and prepare again for the next section.

Nice battle from the Div 1 guys for the RUF Cup.

It's all thanks to your tune. You got me into this one and I'll blame you if I don't get enough sleep the next couple days. :P:lol:
Ok mate, I'll accept full responsibilty. :P Racing on! :gtpflag:
(Where are you Chuk?)
Nice splits !
Thanks mate, not too shabby.. :) but...
By far the best T1 I've seen so far
Fantastic 1st sector! 👍 That inspired me to push a bit harder. :mischievous:

37.300
27.592
29.611

Best 1st and 2nd sectors so far. :) Had a bit of a wobble through the last right hander of sector 3 but held on for a 0.02 gain at the line. Still looking for 2 tenths.

 Its that festive spirit eh mate?

Oh no, I think you should stop! :scared:

Nah, awesome splits sir! 👍

Will have to try this one again tomorrow, hoping to improve by a few tenths.

Yeah Chris, stop already :scared:

You keep on raising the bar 👍 I was .2xx up earlier at T2 but lost my nerve in T3.. Ive probably spent to long on this combo already, but I'll have another try tomorrow.. :)

Argh, my driving line into turn 1 has messed up. Not too damaging but it's taking me tonnes of restarts to find a braking point :( it basically only appears red when you're already at that point, so by the time you see it, it's too late? Weird, didn't happen last night.....

Still, did manage a decent lap, but blew the last turn so bad so the gain wasn't great

I know what you mean. I brake on the first kink in the driving line ( getting the timing so that you are right on the kink is the trick), but atleast it's a reference point. I suppose this depends on your setup though.

 Sorry guys, this new obutto seat is just too comfortable... so blame my Missus. :sly:

Nice battle heating up in D2 there guys - nice splits transamguy and Matt. 👍

I'm just swapping sectors about at the moment so leaving it for now with these splits:

37.346
27.728
29.458

Better run through sector 4 and up a tenth at the line. Messed up my gears after the left hander at the start of sector 2 and changed down instead of up. :dunce: Best sectors tell me there is still another 0.2 to be had but I'm leaving it for now and coming back refreshed for another run on Sunday.

Good luck guys.

Final ones for today...

37.500

Sloppy t2 but lucky t1 where I caught the grass and drifted perfectly into turn 1. Looks really weird on replay.

Major problem with turn 1. Braking line is of no use all of a sudden and I cannot find a reference point other than guessing about 20m before the first braking board. I'm getting really frustrated with that...... :banghead:

Cheers for the great setup Chris, works way better than mine

I never did have a good brake line into 1, so I i've found my reference point from day one. And yes it's frustrating. Nice T1 though :)
I fear I am maxing as my top 10 leaderboard is all within 4/10ths. Done for the day.

chris i know you are fast but dont think you managed a 27 in T1 ;) nearly had a heart attack, but ive done the same before :D

Looking good.

Nice d2 battle shaping up, of course I'm way behind now. Last time I ran there was .4 left in the first three sectors, looks like I'll need all of that.

As for turn 1, I am doing it the same as you are, braking just before the first marker. Really picky brake point, seems like a foot too early and I end up entering way too slow and a foot too late and I'm off the outside.

Slight improvement. Not sure I have anything left in me...

Festive Greetings gentlemen! Late to the party again but not an 11th hour gate-crash this time. :sly: Strange car but an exciting track - I love watching the F1 cars here, it just looks crazy. Some splits anyway -

37.631
27.788
29.831

I have already spent about 2 hours on this combo to get these splits and it was slow going at first. I used Chris' tune, as most seem to be doing. This lap was 0.2 better than any other I managed, mostly due to the fact that my T2 was a total fluke. I thought I was running too wide at the hairpin and then it just came back in and I had a perfect run out and up the hill. :D Every lap after that, I just couldn't repeat that T2 and my other sectors are already close to my best. I'll give it another run tomorrow I think but I generally peak early and then fail to improve so that could be my submission.

Hope you all are having a great holiday. Here's to a grand new year!

Found some speed thnks to those tunings of Vagabond.

Thanks a lote, dude!

Noooooo...! Don't give up just take a break and come back at it refreshed and your blood sugar level primed. :D

Nice one Dan. 👍 Good luck mate. :)

I couldn't resist another go this afternoon...

27.574

I actually made a total mess of turn 3 outbraking myself and running way wide, otherwise this would've been my magic lap. Still up 0.03 at the line though. Coming back to it later...

I would definitely keep trying if it wasn't so 🤬 hard to stay on the track . I've completely lost the "feel" while I was away from GT5

Totally blew t2 on this lap. Theoretically there's .35 left, but I'm done for today.

Four d2r's within .08, good stuff.

New splits : at last I am getting somewhere.
