Registry with new drivers and with current handicaps (week1 official) has also been posted.

Promotions may come as soon as next week.

Current processing order:
1) process the current week
2) new submissions
3) finalize the previous week
4) do promotions (some may require discussion with the admin team)
5) publish updated registry

That makes sense, as I thought they were done every-4-weeks/once-a-month.

With a new seeding for GT6, it seems quite reasonable that there is some outliers. When I qualified for GT5, I thought I was putting in a reasonable amount of time into the quali, but after my first couple of weeks in the TT realized I was putting in more time than I thought I would (they get addictive, don't they?). So for GT6 I knew how much time to put in and feel I'm right where I should be

It is through promotions that it will get fixed It will take a bit of patience as the dust settles and the seeding magic takes root!

In GT5, promotions were handled about once a month.

We've streamlined the tools and process quite a bit for GT6, and the hope is to perform promotions and admit new drivers every week.

... but not quite yet....

Feel free to leave promotions for as long as you like.....indefinitely even as I am quite happy outperforming my Divisional status and handicap . If I get promoted I won't look like I am any good lol

I say they do promotions right this second. My current handicap is 4.004, putting me right at the top of Div 4. Maybe I'll be able to get a podium finally if you all move to Div 3

My "may" was a joke. I didn't put out a deadline for promotions in the first place and I was just squashing expectations that seemed to be spiraling a bit... I usually discourage them here as they get us into trouble, this is volunteer work (unlike PD) and we actually do have real jobs that, believe it or not, come first.
