In ww race I saw people jumping into the pits in middle of the entrance line after it starts on the main straight
Is that allowed?

I think it is, based on having never paid heed to the lines in this positive way. Ie. I thought crossing that line is not allowed when not pitting in, and even that (negative) is probably mentioned in the introduction / specific instructions to the race. Like in this race.

We had penalties in the past for not respecting the white line at pit entry (The Mercedes at Red Bull Ring), but I don't think this is the case. I guess respecting to the best of one's ability would be the norm here.
Stewards?

We've not normally made a hard enforcement of the line rules. What we don't want is people who are in traffic disrupting the race. If you are entering the pits with cars around you, make your intentions known, which generally means moving over long before the white line begins. Don't try weaving around to break the draft, and don't try racing people right up until you decide to make a last second dive to pit lane.

Coming out, if there are other cars coming up on you, stay inside the white line, and the best recommendation would be to stay to the inside all the way to turn in/apex of turn 1. Trying to dive out left to optimize turn in on cold tires with other cars around is going to be disastrous.

Some things have changed on GTP in the last couple days regarding attachments/images. We see your registrations.

17 confirmed so far and a few reserves.

If we're only able to host one room (which is a possibility) then someone may have to sit out.

Manual refresh of sign-up list. This will not be updated, it's a static image.

Switched to reserve for EU. Apparently we have relatives stopping by:rolleyes:. Don't know if I'll make it or not.

I'll be missing for a bit while I make some tea :)

I had mistakely selected may be (reserve) for NA race but the main page pic is not updating(i already cancelled the NA race).
Just wanted to let the stewards no I wont be racing in NA race

Great fun racing in Room B.

I'd appreciate someone or anyone with a replay reviewing my turn 1 on lap 16. I got a little tangled up with @pp-123. I took it intentionally wide to leave room on the inside and at the time the contact seemed incidental but I'd like to get another opinion for future reference.

@Iceman220 Congratulations on the great race you did:tup: Too bad to see you spin once
I did the same :banghead: so we were even on that level you were just faster by a mile.

Had some good battles with @roamer2629 until his first stop and didn't see him in the rest of the race because I was on A 1 stop strategie.

@alexamenos @Mike458 I looked at it and it was OK for both of you, there was enough room and neither of you made A mistake and the contact was only minor. That's my opinion but i'm no steward.

All guys from the B room thanks for racing and will see you again on track. :gtpflag:

Missed EU race, and I wont be able to make the NA race either :(

Yahooo....finished my first EU race in over a month.....my Net Providers actually dug up a connection that had partially failed when it was submerged in water and then frozen last winter ( much colder than normal). It was progressively failing. It was 1700 feet from my house. The tech came back and dropped the offending part in my hand and said " happy driving" ( he is a battle.net player). See you all a bit later.

Hope fully that means you'll have better luck staying connected in WGTC also :)
