GTP_WRS-Online Event 39 : Midnight Motegi - Oct 18th/22nd

Did it have any effect on the outcom of the race? When he hit me i moved out of the way, but yes the lineup at the start was not perfect, and for that i apologise
It doesn't have to have an effect on the race. The point is that it easily could have and is a rules violation.

If this were your first incident it most likely would have been a warning, but this is multiple times now that you are breaking rules.

I'll be honest, I didn't want to give you the penalty, because I thought your strategy was crazy and ended up working awesome...you ran a great race after this mistake at the start. 👍

But we have to enforce the rules consistently.

The rules dont say that 15 sec is the guideline for this minute falt. 5 or maybe 10 sec would be fair. The penalty dont fit the crime.

But you'r site, you'r rules. I'm out.

Don't you agree that you deserve a penalty? 15 seconds is the smallest penalty we usually apply. Our team in the Spa 24 hours was handed a 2 minute penalty!

Not for that small falt. I cant se whats going on behind me when i'm driving with roofcam. And no where in the rules it states That's it is okay to force you'r way up along the side of another driver.

A 2 min penalty on 24 hours is the same as a 5 sec penalty for at 1 hour race. I it had been a 24 hour race my penalty would had been at leest 3 hours. Is that fair? Not in my book.

In fairness to Bart and lukas they are in forcing the rules laid out in the OP on the formation lap you caused some confusion by not being in you correct starting position and you also forced RUZ off just before the start witch would have been avoided had you been in the correct starting position just in front of me.
I'm not taking anything away from your race because besides Ameria you was the quickest and fully deserved 2nd but we all have to follow the rules.

Come on - this is just the game. Don't break the rules and you'll be good. There will be lot of races you could do well and be in podium - I'm sure.
Some of us (me included) has been some issues with the rules but they're there to make our lives/gaming/racing more fun, fair and pleasant.

I was not trying to brake any rule at all. I did not se Ruz behind me. If i did se him, i would not hold that line.

I'm still new at this kind of racing and i get the distinkt feel that all is gunning for me on small mistakes.

Yes it's only a game, but i take it very seriusly and try my best to do it right. Mistakes will happen but as i se it, as long no one lost a place or the race i ruined for someone i dont understand that i get a penalty that cost me the race totaly.

Every time i do a good race i get bummed back on some kind of penalty. I acceptet the penalty for the The RUF race but this one is not okay.

No one gets penalty when they push me out of a corner or bump in to me again and again.

On this i'm standing my ground. One thing is a penalty. Another is how Big it is, and this i too much.

If you're serious about standing your ground, you'll need to send me a PM instead of continuing to drag down what was an awesome race for all, which is only losing you respect from your fellow racers and especially from the stewards, who have spent hours investigating incidents from you as you learn your way. The penalty is final though. Take it like a man, learn from the mistake and you'll see many more podiums in the future, you have the speed for it.

You are not being targeted, you just happen to have made some rule-breaking mistakes in clear view of us stewards. If you feel someone else has broken a rule "pushing you out of a corner" you need to report it, after looking at the replay so you can let us know exactly how to find it. We can't watch every race from every racers point of view. And there have been plenty of others in the past who have received similar penalties for breaking rules that "had no effect on the race outcome". Same happens in real life racing.

This is serious - you *NEED* to map a button for reverse view, there is no excuse for not having the very important ability to look backward. Look at some of Bart's livestreams where he also uses roof view. He's constantly looking back to make sure he has situational awareness.

Thanks for my prompt allocation.

Everyones' times seem very close indeed.

I had a few laps practice earlier and I noticed that the weight of the car differs by 10kg from the 1540kg stated in the OP - do I have to apply ballast?

I just registered for the EU slot as a reserve :)
Please fill out the Driver Info form, until that's done and processed you won't show up on the registration tables.

Since this is your first time racing with us, please join the room early so any connection issues can be sorted out.

Check again if you have window weight reduction or a carbon fibre hood. 1540 is the correct value for a stock car (assuming you have the right car...there are a lot of Skylines that look just like this one ;)). A tuning prohibited room won't allow any weight changes, reductions, nor ballast. Only brake balance can be changed.

If anyone wants to practice in the next few hours, post here and we can get a practice room open, otherwise I'll be thrashing the Weds mercilessly...

My bad, I had the '97 but not the V-Spec .

Blame Kaz for that one. He's the one who added 30 different GT-R's for each year of production. :D

Technically they are not all gtr's

Kaz chucked in the GTS the GTS-t and the GT-t people just assume they are the same because they look identical and have the skyline badge but only a skyline nut like me knows these small anal details lol

I wish I could be a Skyline nut, but Nissan won't build an American version. True, we have an Infiniti over here that's close, but it's just not the same. Japan really needs to get with our safety standards in this country and build more high performance cars for the American market. Honda won't bring the Type-R models over here because they need to add weight to make them safer. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't even remember seeing a high performance version of any of the regular models of any Nissan, Toyota, or Honda in years (other than the Z and GT-R Nismo versions). At least we get the STi and Evo. Subaru and Mitsubishi know what's up.

Sorry for going slightly off topic. Back to your regularly scheduled WRS discussion.

Will be home just in time for the EU race so I have registered. 👍

I find that I can't adjust my Brake balance and 4wd torque split via the RM menu.

Is this possible at all or can I do it via the tuning menu?
